2 audio problems - chronological order

(2 votes)

Audio problem: As Ian is leading Wanda to his room, he asks her what it is like to have both her and Melanie in her head. She responds saying "It's crowded." The camera angle changes to show their faces before she finishes the word "crowded", and her lips are not moving. (01:06:20)

Quantom X

Audio problem: When preparing to go into the hospital, Wanda looks in the side view window of the car. While speaking about covering her scar with a cut, her mouth never moves.

Continuity mistake: When the Seeker's car hits the back of the stopped humans' truck under the bridge, the impact forces the human passenger to drop his gun; based on the angle, we expect it is tossed backwards about 10-20 feet - and lands beside the truck's right side. When the female Seeker arrives and approaches the truck, she picks up the gun from about 50 feet behind (and left of) the truck. The position of the crashed Seeker's car would have blocked the gun from going any further. Also; we see her pick up the gun from a very sharp sun/shade borderline - but in the wide shots, we can't even tell where the shade ends and the sun begins - no borderline at all. Also the closeup shows the gun on the right of the double-yellow line, but the wide shot shows it between the 2 yellow lines as she picks it up. (01:02:45)

Question: What happens to Melanie's dog that is shown in flashback of her skateboarding with it at the beginning of the movie? She (as an alien) and her hidden family never speak of it at all the whole film.
