Revealing mistake: At the beginning when the one monkey falls to its death, it's obviously a stuffed animal posed as a dead monkey.
Continuity mistake: When the monkey kills Jack, he lays with his head facing the right side. A frame later he is facing upwards.
John Clayton: Half of me is the Earl of Greystoke.
John Clayton: The other half is wild.
Trivia: Ralph Richardson, who played the Sixth Earl of Greystoke, died shortly after filming had ended, and he received a posthumous Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The film was dedicated to his memory.
