Continuity mistake: Outside of the corridor of light sequence, nobody ever seems to run out of ammo, or bother to reload, most notably Ada and Alice.

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)
Ending / spoiler
Directed by: Paul W.S. Anderson
Starring: Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Sienna Guillory, Aryana Engineer
Rain injects herself with the Las Plagas virus and kills Luther. Just as Alice is about to be killed by Jill she rips the Red Queen's control device from her chest. Alice shoots the ice under Rain, who is pulled under by zombies. Alice passes out and awakens in the White House, which Wesker is using as the final bastion for humanity. He gives Alice back her powers, which he says are necessary in order for them to make their final stand. Looking out over the rooftop of the White House, the compound is surrounded by millions of zombies, mutations and flying beasts.

Alice: Ada Wong. Operative for the Umbrella coorporation and one of Albert Wesker's top agents. Now the real question is: Why don't I just cancel your contract right now?
Trivia: The footage of the T-cells Wesker injects Alice with is reused from Resident Evil: Afterlife, only in that one, it's the cure for the virus.
Question: How can they use the elevator to get to the surface if the Red Queen shut the power down?
Answer: The force of the water moved the elevator up the shaft, hence why it did not go all the way up.

Answer: She must have had trouble in keeping control of the elevator's power as the impact of the explosion blew out some of the windows and the sea came rushing in.
