Continuity mistake: After being stopped by the policeman for defective tail-lights (one burned out and the other flashing) the 3 women take off for the hospital and both tail-lights are working correctly. (01:05:25 - 01:07:20)

Character mistake: When Frank's wife comes to his office she talks about a 4 week cruise. When the ladies come in together after their fun night one of them says his wife is going on a 2 month vacation.

Continuity mistake: When Judy is walking up the stairs to her apartment there were no cars parked on the street. When Judy's husband appears waiting at her door the next scene shows a red sports car parked on the street with someone on the passenger side.

Visible crew/equipment: After Hart 'knocks' the pencil cup off his desk, Doralee bends down to pick them up and he walks around to 'help' her. They are both on their knees. As they start to get back up, the very tip of the boom mic can be seen just above their heads, along with a faint shadow on the wall of the camera guy.

Audio problem: When the three ladies (Violet, Judy, Doralee) are at the hospital standing at the phone booth, Violet is digging through her purse for some change to make a call and asks Judy if she has any. Their voices sound echoey, indicating the scene was possibly shot on a sound stage and Doralee's line sounds a tad choppy.

Doralee Rhodes: You know... I just don't get it, Dwayne.
Dwayne Rhodes: What's that, honey?
Doralee Rhodes: I'm as nice as I know how to be to every single person in that office. Everyone treats me like a... bastard at a family reunion.

Question: If they hate their jobs then why not quit and sue their boss?

Rob245

Answer: It's not easy to just quit and find a new job and they would not have good references. Lawsuits are difficult, being long, involved, and expensive processes with no guarantees of winning. (If one loses, they can be responsible for the other party's legal costs.) The three women were at a distinct disadvantage as they'd be up against an entire company that most likely would protect the boss, as they'd also be liable for allowing his abuse and be forced to implement new policies. The ladies also wanted to take a stand and fight back, not just for themselves, but for the other women who worked there, making positive company-wide changes while keeping the boss locked up.
