Race With the Devil

Continuity mistake: When Roger shoots the man who is trying to break into the back of the RV during the chase sequence towards the end of the film, he turns around and walks back, but when Alice is trying to stop the man from pouring gasoline into the RV, Roger is at the back of the vehicle and walks back a second time.

Continuity mistake: When Frank and Roger are looking at Roger's bike before they go on vacation, Frank starts to take off his sunglasses, but as the camera angle changes the glasses are over his eyes and he takes them off again.

Continuity mistake: When Roger sees that a tyre has been vandalised on one of the motorbikes on the back of the RV, he calls for Frank. Roger then puts one hand on the tyre, but in the next shot he has both hands on the tyre.

Continuity mistake: When Frank and Roger on their bikes stop to discuss their race plans, Roger raises the visor on his helmet. When Frank drives off, you can see the visor is down, and in the next shot Roger closes his visor for a second time.

Continuity mistake: When Frank is showing Roger the bathroom in the RV, Roger's shirt is buttoned, but when he turns around his shirt is unbuttoned.

Continuity mistake: When Frank and Roger are racing each other on their bikes, Frank lands in the water. Roger then turns his bike around and stops at the edge of the lake, but in the next shot he is slowing down and talking to Frank.

Continuity mistake: During the chase sequence towards the end of the film, Roger uses his pen-knife to cut off some string holding the two bikes on the back of the RV. You can see that the number "5" bike is in front with the number "3" bike right behind it. Roger throws the number "5" bike off the RV to bring down the white truck, but when he uses his shotgun to eliminate the blue car, the number "3" bike has vanished and the number "5" bike has reappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Kelly says "It's the one I saw at the gas station" in the RV in the chase sequence towards the end of the film, you can see that Alice puts her hand on the table top in the front of her, but in the very next shot she is cleaning her hand with a green paper towel.

Revealing mistake: Just over an hour into the film, Frank says to Roger that the oil cooler is "mashed up against the radiator there". But there is no damage to the grill.

Continuity mistake: When the sheriff is talking in his car, Frank is seen yawning and putting his hand to his mouth, but in the next shot when Roger says, "These weren't hippies that we saw, Sheriff!", his hand has suddenly moved away from his mouth.

Continuity mistake: When Frank puts down his glass of beer to have a dance with Alice at the bar, the glass is full. However, when he and Alice return to the table after the dance, the glass is empty, and when he and Alice leave the bar with Roger and Kelly, the glass is full with beer again.

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Roger kicks open the door on the RV and sends the mechanic into the river, you can see the RV is pursued by a white truck and there are no other cars visible. But when a man starts pouring gasoline into the RV, the white truck is joined by a blue car and a brown car.

Continuity mistake: When Roger climbs down from the ladder on the RV after eliminating the brown car during the chase sequence, he is holding a shotgun. In the next shot when the white truck hits the RV, Roger is holding onto the ladder but the shotgun has disappeared. The gun reappears when he eliminates the blue car at the end of the chase.

Continuity mistake: When the truck with the green unit collides with the RV at the beginning of the car chase towards the end of the film, the mirror and compartment are damaged in the process, yet for the rest of the scene appear completely intact.

Continuity mistake: When Roger picks up the shotgun to shoot the man who is breaking into the back of the RV, look at Peter Fonda's fringe. You can see it is quite scruffy but when he goes to shoot the man, the fringe is now neatly combed.

Other mistake: Clay Tanner plays Jack Henderson in this film, yet the end credits list him as "Delbert".

Continuity mistake: When we see the man pouring gasoline through the vent of the RV during the chase towards the end of the film, he is pouring it kneeling and his right boot is directly by the vent. But when we cut to another angle where the lid of the vent is open, you can see the man's knee, but his right boot is nowhere in sight.

Continuity mistake: When Roger shoots the blue car during the chase sequence towards the end of the film, the car does several rolls on the grass and loses its hood in the process. But in the next scene, when we see the car rolling from a different angle, the hood has suddenly re-appeared.

Continuity mistake: When Roger rams the red truck during the car chase scene, it is on the right hand side of the road, but in the next shot when the truck collides with the RV, the red truck is seen on the left hand side of the road.

Continuity mistake: When the RV is being pursued by a white truck, Roger throws off one of the scramblers from the rear bike rack. When we see him doing this, the RV is driving down a narrow single track road with bushes on each side. In the next scene, we see the white truck driving along a much wider road with a central divider.

Roger Marsh: Hey everybody! Lighten up! It's all over.
