Factual error: Metrocity appears to be located in Michigan, but the news station on the truck starts with K, which signifies that's it's in the western half of the US.

Megamind (2010)
1 factual error
Directed by: Tom McGrath
Starring: Brad Pitt, Will Ferrell, Jonah Hill, Tina Fey
Continuity mistake: While Megamind is in the Metroman Museum, he uses his dehydrator gun and turns Bernard into a little blue cube. He puts the cube in his pocket, then picks up Bernard's cellphone and glasses. At the end of the movie, inserted into the credits is a short scene where Minion is doing laundry. As he approaches the washing machine, Bernard pops out of it, having been rehydrated in the wash - with his glasses perched askew on his head. (00:30:05 - 01:28:20)
Roxanne Ritchie: So that's it then? You're just giving up?
Megamind: I'm the bad guy. I don't save the day, I don't fly off into the sunset and I don't get the girl. I'm going home.
Trivia: During Megamind and Metroman's final battle in the beginning of the film, just after Megamind yells at Minion to fire the death ray, Metroman can be seen (from the crowd's point of view on the giant monitors) to fade out slightly from the observatory and fade in just behind Megamind's right shoulder. This corresponds to, and foreshadows, Metroman's flashback shown later. (00:17:50)
Question: How is Megamind's robot able to do exactly what he does? We don't see him push any buttons or anything, so how is this possible?
Answer: Because he trained him.
Answer: I could be wrong, but I always figured that Megamind had created I device that would be able to have Minion control the robot thing with his mind.

Answer: Mad Science. There's an old science fiction writers' saying that "Poorly explained science is better than DUMB science, " so exactly how it works isn't important, it just works.
