Other mistake: The 30 second timer counting down in the garage trap actually takes 87 seconds to count down. The first 17 seconds take 72 seconds to pass. (00:20:15)

Other mistake: When Suzanne is in the trap there is one point where we see 36 seconds remaining on the clock. If you listen carefully you can continue to hear the clock tick down once per second, even offscreen, and you can count about 45 ticks before Suzanne is killed. (00:44:45)

Other mistake: Bobby extracts 2 teeth forcibly to get into the final room, however when he's in the other room his mouth is no longer bleeding. The blood wouldn't stop that quickly. (01:02:15 - 01:10:00)

Continuity mistake: Saw VII takes place straight after Saw VI. In Saw VI we see Jill put Hoffman in the bear trap and leave. We then see that Hoffman spends around 45 seconds trying to get the trap off before putting in the bars on the window. In this film however, just after Jill closes the door we see the glass break. No delay. (00:08:20)

Trivia: Spoilers. At one point, the two pig masks that assist Gordon were supposed to be Brad and Ryan from the opening public trap. This was related to the original ending, in which it is revealed that a number of the survivor's group members have been assisting John and Gordon with their work, behind the back of Hoffman. However, with this idea having been dropped, the identity of the two pig masks has now been left up to the imagination of the viewer. After the release of Jigsaw in 2017, it is revealed that John has another apprentice, Logan. Logan is of similar build to one of the pigmen and is quite possibly one of them.

Question: Why does Dr Gordon decide to work with John? And why does he put himself, his daughter and wife in extreme danger?

laviiebelle

Answer: He, his wife and his daughter were abducted before he decided to work with Jigsaw. He didn't put them in danger. As for why he decided to work with Jigsaw following his ordeal, like other characters in the franchise, he either developed a level of Stockholm syndrome or he concluded that Jigsaw's methods were right, or a combination of both.
