Continuity mistake: When Bobby says it's his fault, he has both hands up. When the camera changes, his right hand is down by his side. (00:15:45)

Continuity mistake: During the time in which the wife had walked out of the Police Station,she approaches the tri-cycle, during the change of angles there are tire tracks & foot prints, in another angle there are none, the snow is smooth. (00:16:20)

Revealing mistake: During Jill's dream where she is killed by the "Death-Kart", watch closely. During at least two shots, you can see wires near the wheels that are pulling the cart, revealing it isn't self-propelled as depicted. (They are visible in the third shot of it moving forward, where the camera moves upwards and tilts down, and in the sixth shot of the moving cart, where the camera is looking down). (00:17:40)

Continuity mistake: When we see the garage trap we see that half the windscreen is smashed away and the other side has a crack through it. However in one shot, the cracks have gone. (00:19:10)

Continuity mistake: In the garage trap, Evan can be seen to grab hold of the steering wheel with the tips of his fingers on his right hand. Camera changes, and his hand has moved instantly. (00:19:35)

Other mistake: The 30 second timer counting down in the garage trap actually takes 87 seconds to count down. The first 17 seconds take 72 seconds to pass. (00:20:15)

Continuity mistake: As Evan is tearing himself away from the car seat, you can see his back muscles are a fleshy-color and only have a little bit of blood on them. When he crashes at the end of the scene, his back muscles are suddenly dark-red and saturated with blood, despite looking totally different just seconds before. (00:20:25)

Continuity mistake: In the garage trap, Evan is reaching through the window with about 12 seconds to spare. The camera changes, and his reach is nowhere near as far as it was before the camera change. (00:20:25)

Revealing mistake: When Dr. Gordon says that everyone is grateful to Bobby, there is an over-the-shoulder camera angle. In this angle it is clear that Dr. Gordon is not talking. Yet his voice continues. (00:25:25)

Continuity mistake: When Gideon is answering the phone and looking at the woman, he raises the phone to his ear, camera cuts and he raises it again. (00:27:00)

Continuity mistake: At the Garage trap, the man on the door can be seen to be split in two. However when we see all the homicide cops looking at the scene, he is all in one, albeit a bad one, part. (00:27:20)

Visible crew/equipment: When the camera is panning down on the mess that is the junk yard, look in the cars and you can see a shadow moving. Clearly the camera. (00:27:30)

Continuity mistake: Det. Rogers spots the note for Gibson from Hoffman and the reverse bear trap. When he calls Gibson over, he has his arm up and resting on the door frame. When Gibson looks into the room, Rogers lifts his arm again. (00:28:30)

Trivia: The "Horsepower Trap" (the car trap involving Even and his friends) was an idea that writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan have tried to get into several "Saw" films before, only to be told by the producers that it was too gruesome and cruel. Knowing this was the intended final film, the producers finally allowed them to include the scene.
