D2: The Mighty Ducks

Trivia: The actress playing Connie has the same surname as her character - Moreau.

Trivia: In the first scrimmage game between the Ducks and the new players, Dwayne says "It's a great day for hockey". That is a tribute to former USA Hockey player and coach "Badger" Bob Johnson, who died of brain cancer in 1991. Johnson used to say this to his players every day.

Trivia: Notice that in the first and second movies, both "villain" teams (Hawks and Iceland) are wearing the same style uniforms; Only the teams's crests are different.

Trivia: In reference to the 1980 USA Olympic team, Bombay asks everyone in the locker room who they are and where they are from. Coach Herb Brooks did the same thing to his players in 1980.

Revealing mistake: In the final game against Iceland scene, there is a point where you can see that the people in the stands are actually cardboard cut-outs.

Question: What happened to Terry, Tommy, Karp, Peter and Tammy?

Answer: Their absence is never explained so it can be assumed they either moved away, lost an interest in hockey, or couldn't participate for some other reason. Terry's brother Jesse is still on the team so he probably hasn't moved.
