Corrected entry: When the guys are in the comic shop, the rich kid's car is parked on the opposite side of the street. But when the guys walk out moments later, the car is on their side. The driver had entered the comic shop with the kid, so could not have moved it. (00:07:00)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Kick-Ass and Hit Girl after they flew (with the jet pack) onto a roof and tell each other their real names, you can see that Kick-Ass's baton holder is completely gone from his back.
Correction: He's wearing a jet pack, which would not allow for the batons or the holder.
Corrected entry: When Red Mist shoots Hit Girl, Big Daddy is devastated. Yet, earlier in the movie, he was seen training his daughter to withstand bullet hits. Surely, he would remember this and realize that she's okay.
Corrected entry: During the comic book scene at the beginning, when Marty mentions Paris Hilton, he is holding a comic book. In the next shot, the comic is on the table.
Correction: He doesn't open it to the same page he was reading when he holds it up.
Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, when Kick-Ass and Hitgirl are on the top of a building, Hitgirl takes off her wig to show who she really is, but the wig comes off too easily to stay on during all of her fighting scenes.
Corrected entry: When Todd and Dave are walking out of the comic store, Todd has a chain hanging down from his jeans. When they are walking through to the car park where they get mugged, he has no visible chain or any sign that he has tucked the chain into his jeans. (00:07:20)
Corrected entry: When the five kids are sitting in the comic store and Katie says something about how she would "bang the **** out of Kick-Ass", we can see out the window that it is raining reasonably heavily outside. We then cut to Katie and Dave making out in the alley behind the store only about thirty seconds later, and it isn't raining.
Correction: It's not raining reasonably heavy, it's a light shower, plus it's quite sunny and light out, indicating the rain isn't widespread. Once in the alley, Dave and Katie have damp hair, hinting that a light drizzle is occurring, or has just finished drizzling.
Corrected entry: In the scene after Kick Ass meets Hit Girl and Big Daddy for the first time, D'Amico is examining an iPhone with a photo of Big Daddy on it. One of his goons explains that the photo is the last one the owner of the iPhone took before his death, but the screen says that the photo displayed is photo 7 of 16. If it was really the last photo ever taken, it would be 16 of 16, assuming that the goon hadn't played around with it before showing D'Amico.
Correction: You just answered your own mistake. "Assuming that the goon hadn't played around with it before showing D'Amico." None of D'Amico's goons have been shown to be overly bright, and it's not unlikely that one or more of them would take more pictures with the camera before showing it to D'Amico.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Mindy is being trained by her father to withstand a bullet to the chest, in the shots after he fires the first time, her jacket has no holes in it.
Correction: The bullet holes in Mindys coat can be seen in the Blu-Ray release. They aren't easy to see but they are there.
Corrected entry: The newspaper headline read 'kick-ass impersonator killed' or something resembling that, but the problem is, no one knew who kick-ass actually was. Therefore they wouldn't know for sure if it had been the real kick-ass or not.
Corrected entry: The scuba wetsuit Dave ordered online is totally different from the one he received.
Corrected entry: At the time in the end, where Hit Girl introduces herself to Kick Ass, and takes her mask off, she says I'm Mindy, then there comes a 1 second shot of them away, and you can see she's still wearing the mask, when that 1 second shot finishes the mask isn't on.
Correction: I have no idea what you're talking about. Because after she takes the mask off it's still off.
Corrected entry: When Hit Girl runs out of ammunition as she's about to kill the last gangster in the hallway scene the slide to her pistol is closed, indicating a round is chambered. An empty gun's slide would be held open.
Correction: This could very well be an FTF, or "Failure To Fire" and isn't really indicated past her own surprise that the pistol didn't go off.
Corrected entry: When Kick-Ass calls Big Daddy and Hit Girl for help, they leave behind their hot cocoa. After Hit Girl rescues Kick-Ass and they return to their house, Hit Girl looks at the two mugs of hot cocoa and we can see the marshmallows floating in both cups. Considering the amount of time elapsed, those marshmallows should have been melted.
Correction: Not so. We don't know how hot the drinks were in the first place, and by virtue of the fact the drinks would be cooling down means the marshmallows never get to melt.
Corrected entry: When hit-girl is pinned down late in the film by the few remaining men and is out of ammo, she never uses the grenades strapped to her. Assuming they were any kind of functional grenade, i.e. a flash, smoke, or frag, she could have used them to, at the very least, cause a distraction well before the guy goes to get the bazooka.
Correction: There are two reasons to explain that. The first reason is that she simply didn't think of it. The second reason is that she did think about it, but could not see how it would help in that situation.
Corrected entry: When Hit-Girl and Big Daddy are practising with bulletproof vests, the dummy used when Hit-Girl falls to the ground is visible. It bounces unlike a real human body and the position of her right hand and both her legs move between shots. (00:12:55)
Correction: When you watch in slow mo, it's 100% a real human, not a dummy.
I'm not convinced.
Correction: No, the bodyguard (the big black guy) entered the store - the driver remained in the car. This fact is evidenced during a close subsequent scene in which the bodyguard enters the car via the passenger door, not the driver's-side door.
