Meet the Robinsons

Plot hole: When Wilbur and Lewis are time traveling for the first time, Lewis says he's done with the memory scanner. Since he said he wouldn't invent Dor-15, and she went away, wouldn't the time machine and everything else in the future go away since the memory scanner started it all and Lewis decided to quit?

Suggested correction: Lewis wasn't fully giving up. He was just frustrated and probably went back to it later anyway. Whereas with Doris, he deliberately decided not to invent her because of the danger she posed.

Plot hole: Lewis fixes the timeline by saying to the hat machine "I'll never invent you", then takes Goob to the future. That present is still dark but it shouldn't be like that.

Continuity mistake: When Lewis is tearing out the pages of his notebook, his bag is open. When he discovers that Wilbur is not a cop from the future - from the tanning salon coupon - he goes to grab his bag. This time his bag is closed and in the opposite position.

Trivia: When discussing Wilbur's family, he says his dad Cornelius looks like Tom Selleck. Tom Selleck is the one who provides the voice for the adult Cornelius Robinson.

Question: Not saying I'm an expert on time travel, but when Goob and 'Doris' submit the Memory Scanner as their own, shouldn't Doris immediately vaporize much like she did when Lewis said he wouldn't invent her, seeing as Lewis is still theoretically in the future and wouldn't be present in the past to invent Doris?

Answer: No, because in that timeline Lewis would still eventually invent Doris. Doris would always be invented by Lewis at some point until he promises never to invent her.
