The Monster Squad

Other mistake: The werewolf gets blown to pieces by the dynamite, clothes and all. I can understand how the werewolf can reassemble his body as only silver can kill him. But how in the world do his clothes knit themselves back together?

Suggested correction: It was a nod to the comment Sean made earlier in the movie about Wolfman wearing pants in the 40's so you wouldn't see his "wolf dork"; it was meant to be a joke.

Other mistake: There is a lot happening at town square in the final scene; the kids are trying to get into the church, Rudy is killing vampires, and the German guy parked in front of the church. But in the overhead shot where we see the bat flying, there are no people or cars visible near the church at all.

Continuity mistake: When Horace is confronted by the Gillman and has picked up the shotgun, he looks inside and sees E.J. and another kid hiding behind the counter. Horace begs them to let him in. E.J. and the other kid shake their heads no and lower themselves behind the counter. A few seconds later, a distant shot shows the two shaking their heads and lowering themselves behind the counter again.

Question: What was the point of Dracula blowing up the clubhouse? He obviously knew the kids weren't there because he tells the father that he is going for his son.

Answer: He's pissed off at the kids.

Answer: It was in retaliation for them stealing the amulet from him. You can actually consider it the first shot of the impending battle between the monsters and the Squad.
