Factual error: Borat and Azmat are depicted having entered Atlanta and getting off at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. which runs East and West. Atlanta does not have a road named "Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd." The MLK in Atlanta is "Martin Luther King Junior Drive" (00:35:50)

Continuity mistake: When Borat and Azamat are running out of the Jewish home, in the first shot Borat holds nothing and Azamat holds the suitcase. In the second shot Borat holds the suitcase and Azamat nothing. (00:39:30)

Continuity mistake: When Borat is chasing Pamela Anderson and the security chasing Borat, you see a few other people chasing him as well. There is a man in a purple shirt who is carrying a camera, as well as a man in a dark blue sweater. The security guards push the man in the dark blue sweater out of the way just before they reach Borat, yet one scene later the man still catches Borat before security does. (01:16:30 - 01:17:10)

Factual error: In the movie Borat is supposed to be staying at the Wellington in NY. However, when the manager comes to give him the telegram that his wife had died, the name tag says the Wingate hotel.

Continuity mistake: In the beginning when Borat is at his village and he is packing to go to America when he is finished packing he puts a necklace on when he walks outside the necklace disappears.

Continuity mistake: When Borat wrestles his fat Kazakh friend he is sitting on Borat's face at one point. When he gets up, for a brief moment yellow material is visible between Borat's face and the man's ass, just before it cuts away. (Sacha Baron Cohen supposedly donned a surgical mask when filming the takes for those shots.)

Continuity mistake: When Borat arrives at the airport, he is coming down the escalator and there are several people immediately in front of him. The shot jumps to when he is closer to the bottom, yet the people who were immediately in front of him are not on the escalator nor are they even within the vicinity of the escalator.

Borat: We didn't fly, just in case the jews repeated their attack of 9/11.

Trivia: When Borat talks in "Kazakh," he is actually speaking Hebrew (with some Polish words thrown in) - ironic, considering the character's blatant anti-semitism in the film.

Question: There is a scene where Borat is queueing up to see Pamela Anderson, he gets to her, asks her to marry him and when she refuses he puts a large sack over her head to try and abduct her. Now I know Borat is a spoof character, and everyone he meets believes he is real, however that scene was quite dramatic and security would have been tight around her. That action could have got Sacha Baron Cohen in some serious trouble, or even worse, shot by one of her security guards. Was Pamela in the know on this scene, or was it genuinely as we see it?

Chosen answer: Pamela has been asked about this and has stated in interviews that she and Sacha had talked at length about what they were going to do. It was all planned out and rehearsed, unlike the majority of the rest of the movie.
