Corrected entry: In the movie we see the Newcastle team fly to London for Santiago's first game. Firstly Newcastle, nor any other English club fly to away games. They have a coach. Secondly, there are no flights from Newcastle to London at Newcastle or Teeside airport.

Scrappy

Correction: Incorrect. This has been proved by a recent Premier Leauge game between Wigan and Arsenal at the JJB Stadium. After the game I can't remember which player, but in the post match interview the player mentioned how dissapointed the team are going to be on the flight back home.

Corrected entry: During the movie when Santiago trains he is obviously right footed yet he manages to take an expert free kick and score with his left foot in the game versus Liverpool.

Correction: It is possible to kick with both feet.

Continuity mistake: When Newcastle plays Chelsea the ball is yellow, but when we see shots from the real game it is white when we see the actors with the ball.

Santiago Munez: The only one who can tell me I'm not good enough is you. And even then I may not agree with you.

Trivia: The free-kick goal scored by Santiago (actor) against Liverpool in the movie was actually scored by the real Newcastle United player Laurent Robert in the real game against Liverpool which won them the game 1-0.
