Continuity mistake: The warden attempts to trap Ricky by pushing a table at him. On the table there is a tray filled with meat from when the warden forced an inmate's arm into a meat grinder earlier in the scene. In the shot where he first pushes the table, the meat in the tray is towards the right hand corner of the tray. Ricky then jumps over the table and the meat is now towards the left hand side. Continuity mistake: When the warden is kicked across the kitchen by Ricky, he lands on a sink. On the floor beneath the kitchen sink, a couple of tiles that were stuck to the wall fall off it. We are then shown a closer shot of the same area, where the tiles that just fell off the wall are now back on the wall, and two entirely different tiles have now fallen off. (01:26:31)

Continuity mistake: When Ricky is trying to force the warden's body into the meat grinder, as Ricky begins pushing his head down, the warden is positioned directly in front of Ricky. When the camera changes angles, the warden has suddenly rotated by 90°. The camera changes angles again and the warden is suddenly facing Ricky directly, then in the next shot, the warden has suddenly rotated 90° again. (01:28:53)

Continuity mistake: When Ricky is sitting on the ground after being thrown to the ground by the warden, whilst the warden is telling him they've got the same kung fu style, Ricky has both his arms placed firmly on the ground. Continuity mistake: Just after the warden has one of the guard take his son away, he and Ricky prepare to fight. At this point, Ricky has no blood shown around his mouth. Continuity mistake: When the warden is preparing to fight Ricky, he takes his belt off and drops it on the tray of meat on the table in front of him. The warden then pushes the table towards Ricky and the belt is now positioned to be beside the meat tray. Ricky then kicks the warden across the room and the belt is now suddenly nearer to the other end of the table. (01:26:28)

Continuity mistake: Just after the warden has chopped off the inmate's hand by forcing it into the meat grinder, the inmate falls over and some of the blood coming out of his arm splatters on the wall beside him. Two other inmates walk up to him to help him up, and now there is suddenly much more blood on the wall. The blood also changes appearance, being splattered on the wall in one shot, then being smeared on the wall in the next shot. (01:22:16)

Continuity mistake: When the warden begins forcing the inmate's hand into the meat grinder, in the first shot, we can see that his body is placed over a cloth, placed over the side. When the shot cuts, the cloth has suddenly moved much further to the right and away from the man. (01:22:03)

Continuity mistake: When the assistant warden starts searching Ricky's cell, he opens the two doors to the toilet stall to see if he is in there. Whilst Ricky jumps down from the ceiling, the assistant warden has the left door on the toilet stall held open and the right door on the toilet stall closed. When he notices Ricky in the next shot, the left door on the toilet stall is now closed and the right door on the toilet stall is now wide open. (01:19:09)

Continuity mistake: Wong Chun stuffs a load of razors in Ricky's mouth and begins hitting him. After the warden asks Ricky a question and Wong Chun stops hitting him for a moment, we can see that Ricky's left cheek looks fine (aside from the blood running down his head). In the next shot, the razors are suddenly sticking out of his cheeks that were not there in the previous shot. (01:16:27)

Continuity mistake: When Ricky punches the drug lord in the side of the head, whilst the drug lord begins to fall over after Ricky punches him, there are no visible injuries shown on his head. When the drug lord is shown on the ground in the next shot, there is a huge wound and lots of blood on the side of his head that would have been visible in the previous shot. (01:12:25)

Continuity mistake: When Ricky retaliates after Tarzan tries to squeeze his head through the jail cell bars, there is some blood shown on his face. A couple seconds later, just after he punches Tarzan's arm, there is drastically much more blood on his face. (01:02:10)
