Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Continuity mistake: When the Jedi Council discuss about Grievous being on Utapau and Yoda says "Act on this we must" Windu is sitting with his hands down. When it cuts he has his right hand to his face. (00:46:40)

Continuity mistake: When Yoda is done with the holographic meeting with the rest of the Jedi Council about sending Obi-wan after Grievous, he gets up and walks to the trooper behind him. We also see Chewbacca follow him, stop, and cross his arms. When it cuts to the trooper saying, "The droids have started up their main power generators," we see Chewbacca still walking and stopping, but this time he doesn't cross his arms, he places them on his hips. (00:47:20)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin tells Obi-Wan, "I was arrogant, and I apologize." his hair is combed a certain way. As the conversation continues, his hair changes. (00:48:40)

Continuity mistake: When Anakin tells Padme he's found a way to save her, she says "Is that what's bothering you" while placing her hand on his chest and pulling it away again. When it cuts her hand is still on his chest. (00:51:30)

Continuity mistake: On Utapau when Obi-Wan gets off the creature before jumping down to Grievous, he pats the creature on its head. When it cuts his hand is nowhere near the creature. (00:54:45)

Continuity mistake: Before the lightsaber battle between Grievous and Kenobi, the area where they are standing and where Kenobi "drops" the weight on the magnadroids is a solid floor. The whole preparation-for-battle-scene does not include much movement from the actors. As soon as Grievous begins to move in on Kenobi, both of them are suddenly standing on some sort of bridge, without even passing the dropped weight. (00:56:15)

Revealing mistake: After the battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin/Darth Vader, Vader lies badly burned on the ground slowly crawling up. Palpatine's shuttle flies by, as seen by a shadow. However, even the lava in the shadow turns dark, like the lava is glowing from an external light source instead of glowing within itself. (00:57:50)

Other mistake: When Obi-Wan drops the block on the MagnaGuards, the one sticking out still has his photoreceptor on his chest. When Obi-Wan cuts his head off, he should still be able to move because he still has the photoreceptor. MagnaGuards were specifically designed to be able to fight without their heads. (00:57:53)

Audio problem: After Palpatine reveals to Anakin that he's a Sith Lord, he says, "But you're not sure of their intentions, are you?" When he stops talking, his mouth is still moving. (01:02:25)

Continuity mistake: During the chase when both Obi-Wan and Grievous falls off the vehicle Grievous is driving, you see Obi-Wan flying off head first. When it cuts, he comes flying standing straight up in the air. (01:03:25)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: When Obi-Wan and Grievous are fighting, Grievous punches Obi-Wan through the air. Obi-Wan's stick then lands by his feet. When it cuts the stick has moved further up lying right next to him. (01:03:40)

Revealing mistake: When Grievous and Obi-wan are fighting, as Grievous hits Obi-wan making him fly through the air hitting his vessel, it is quite obvious it is a stunt double instead of Ewan McGregor. (01:03:45)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: When Obi-Wan kills Grievous and Grievous falls to the ground we see, in the wide shot, Obi-Wan lowering his weapon. When it cuts to a close-up he lowers his gun again. (01:04:35)

Mortug

Audio problem: After Anakin tells Mace Windu that Palpatine is a Sith Lord, Anakin says, "I must go, Master," and Mace answers, "No," but his lips are saying something else. (01:05:45)

Continuity mistake: When Mace Windu departs to confront Palpatine, as the ship takes off, Anakin's position on the floor differs from the previous shot, seen from the lines on the floor. (01:06:00)

Continuity mistake: When Mace Windu departs to confront Palpatine, after he steps inside the ship, the round part of its shadow changes position between shots. (01:06:00)

Continuity mistake: After Anakin has told Windu that Palpatine is the Sith Lord, Windu gets on his ship which takes off. We see the ship's shadow moving on the ground right next to Anakin. When it cuts the shadow from the ship is gone. When it cuts again to a wider shot we see the ship's shadow suddenly appear again. (01:06:05)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: When Padmé is in her apartment and Anakin is in the Jedi Council chamber, they look out across the city toward each other. The position of the setting sun and the direction of its light across their locations is not consistent given what we are shown about their relative positions and the directions they are facing. (01:07:10)

Continuity mistake: Just before the lightsaber battle between Mace Windu and Darth Sidious, we see the lightsaber of Sidious ejected from his sleeve and he grabs it with his finger down the length of it. Continuity mistake: After Sidious has killed the Jedis, he confronts Windu. Windu then starts backing out the door and Sidious follows him while pointing his light saber up. When it cuts his saber points down before striking at Windu. (01:08:45)

Trivia: General Grievous is permanently coughing when he talks. The cause is revealed in the last episode of the animated Emmy-winning TV series "Clone Wars" (albeit technically no longer canon). In that episode, Grievous kidnaps Palpatine and before leaving, is attacked by Mace Windu, who destroys part of his chest armour, making him cough for the first time.

Question: During the lightsaber duel on Mustafar, why does Anakin even bother to try to make the jump that he afterwards regretted? Couldn't he had just simply used the force to push the lava towards Obi-Wan, killing him, and then make the jump to safety?

Answer: Maybe, but he is overconfident and impulsive. He has also let rage blind him. Anakin is probably the better fighter of the two, but Obi-Wan kept his cool and analyzed as he fought while Anakin fought angrily and ultimately foolishly which left an opening for Obi-Wan to maim him. It's said in almost every episode of Star Wars not to let fear and anger cloud your judgement. Here are the results.
