Continuity mistake: When they're in the school and they split up, Terri walks into the classroom and the map at the front of the classroom has bloody hand prints on it. When Jill Valentine walks into the same room later, there are no hand prints on the map.

Suggested correction: It's two different maps on two different walls.

Plot hole: After Dr. Ashford was shot, he stayed down the whole time that Alice fought with Nemesis, they fought with Umbrella, and after they took off. How is that possible? According to all the other times they've been shot, and with the t-virus in their bloodstream, they reanimate almost ten minutes later -- not when the director wants.

Suggested correction: The doctor reanimated after roughly 5-10 minutes, just like every other one does... as stated in the error. Plus convenient timing isn't a plot hole.

Continuity mistake: When Alice has refused to finish Nemesis off, she stands alone. Mr. Bad Guy tells Nemesis to kill her, and two Umbrella men suddenly appear out of nowhere beside her.

Continuity mistake: In the church scene, Alice blows up her motorcycle with two shots of her Colt .45's. During the shot of her back, she already starts with holstering her guns, her arms are already halfway there when the shot cuts. Then, there is a quick shot of the explosion, and in the next shot her arms are straight again, in the position where they were when she took a shot at her bike. There is no reason or time enough to do that.

Friso94

Factual error: In the cemetery scene about 1/4 through the movie, you see a corpse with meal worms eating its head. It's a cemetery, not a bait shop. What, is the corpse a fisherman? I am pretty sure you would never see this in real life. Meal worms eat mostly bran, fruit and vegetables and fish eat them. Worms and maggots yeah, but not mealies.

quay

Visible crew/equipment: When Nemesis shoots the guy on the roof of the theater, you can see a machine that shoots out fire.

Continuity mistake: When the Suburban is T-boned, it is replaced with an older 92-94 Suburban with the front end of a newer 00-04 Suburban installed in place of the older front end. Older model 6 spoke wheels are installed instead of the 00-04 wheels shown in previous scenes. In one of the shots towards the end of the sequence, a completely different 96-99 suburban is shown rolling over with five spoke wheels, and the scene is mirrored.

Revealing mistake: When Yuri gets bitten while the SWAT team, along with the local PD, fight the zombies on the streets, Carlos and Yuri almost get bitten by a zombie, but they are saved by their 3rd member. Right after that we see a sign reading "Pizza Pizza" which is the largest pizza company in Ontario, Canada. There are no locations in the US.

Deliberate mistake: When Jill and Angela are in the cafeteria, and the first dog comes running at Jill, if you look closely, you can see Jill bounces back with impact before the dog actually hits her.

Deliberate mistake: In the scene where they're on the airplane, and the bomb has just been landed, there's a sharp instrument that's loose and starts going towards Angela, and Alice takes the fall. If you watch closely, the sharp instrument is aiming towards Alice's right shoulder, but ends up meeting her stomach.

Plot hole: In the school building, Nikolai is mauled by the police dogs that were affected by the T-virus. We see him lying dead on the ground several minutes after the attack and he still hasn't become a zombie. However, when someone dies they almost instantly come back.

Alice: My name...is Alice. And I remember everything.

Trivia: The part when Alice is running in the building being shot at by helicopters and when she is being seized by the Umbrella guards and she drops her gun and catches it in mid-air and shoots them is taken from the beginning sequence of the game Resident Evil Code Veronica.

Question: How does Jill find out about the T-virus and its effects? I don't think they ever explained it in the movie.

Answer: The newspaper clippings we see in her apartment at the start refer to a 'mansion incident' - this in fact relates to the events of the first Resident Evil game, when Jill and other STARS members were trapped in a mansion overrun with the T-Virus. By the end of the game Jill knows exaclty what the T-Virus is and what its effects are.

Even though it mentions it in the newspaper clippings in the movie she wasn't even at the Mansion so therefore she wouldn't have known about the t-virus in the movie.

She was at the mansion prior to the events of Apocalypse, and one of the first ones to know about the virus before it hit Raccoon City.
