Starring: Morris Chestnut, Johnny Messner, KaDee Strickland, Matthew Marsden, Eugene Byrd, Nicholas Gonzalez
The team all abandon the expedition to the orchid except Jack, who steals the raft the team build and goes on alone. The others catch up with him just as he gets to where the orchid is, this is also where the "snake orgy" is happening. A fight ensues and Jack gets bitten by the stone spider and falls into the anaconda pit and is killed. All the anacondas are then crushed by falling rubble. Bill, Sam, Gail and Cole are the only ones who survive

Cole Burris: I had this friend, who had this friend who shot documentaries, and he and his whole crew went down to the Amazon, and they were all eaten by snakes, and that's a true story.
Gordon Mitchell: Come on Cole, you knew a guy who knew a guy. That's an urban myth.
Trivia: The Chinese tattoo on Bill's arm reads Wo de shi jie, which means "My world."
Question: Does the movie provide any evidence that the Blood orchid flowers would renew human youth like a fountain of youth?

Answer: No, it doesn't. The characters speculate that the anacondas are unusually large because the orchids are part of the food chain in the area; then have a discussion over whether or not the orchids would have the same effect on humans. This discussion is unresolved and the question goes unanswered for the rest of the film.
