Anchorman

Other mistake: In the scene where Ron and Veronica are in the car overlooking San Diego talking about the name, you can see just above Veronica's head, a bug climbing on the camera.

Suggested correction: There's no way what it's seen is a bug on the lens. It's on the windshield of the car. At the start of the scene, you see the bug in front of Ron and it slowly makes its way across the windshield and then up towards the roofline as it gets in front of Veronica.

Other mistake: In the article about Ron finishing 2nd in the hot dog contest, it says he's "now dubbed the Michael Jordan of wiener wolfing." Jordan didn't even start college until 1981. Not to mention Jordan was only playing JV high school basketball in 1978 in North Carolina.

Continuity mistake: Right before the brawl, Brian pulls out a pistol which he also has right when the brawl begins. However, in the very next shot someone is swining a weapon down at him and he's holding nunchucks (play it on slow and you can see it's him).

Trivia: When Ed announces that a woman is coming to work at the station, Brick panics because he has heard that bears are attracted to the smell of their periods. Believe it or not, this is actually true of bears and lions.

Question: In the bonus features of the movie, the director and Will talked about how they both didn't see eye to eye or didn't get along. Is this true or were they just messing around and being funny?

Answer: They're messing around. Will Ferrell and director Adam McKay are great friends. They wrote the screenplay for Anchorman together and are currently working together again on an as of yet untitled comedy about NASCAR which is due in 2006.
