Other mistake: In the closing credits, John Kitzmiller's name is misspelt "John Kitzmuller". (01:45:50)

Factual error: When Bond and Honey are machine-gunned from the boat it is a Bren gun, but the magazine appears to be the wrong way round and faces backwards.

Continuity mistake: During the dirt road chase, Bond's car is pale blue in color in the wide shots but dark blue in the close-ups, where a rear projection is used. Also, the wipers swap between being fully lowered and slightly covering the windshield. A different car was obviously used.

Continuity mistake: Bond grabs the golf club that Trench is holding and retrieves it towards him. A split second later, from the opposite angle, his hand is away and she's still holding the club firmly.

Revealing mistake: When Honey wakes up and walks to grab a dress in the closet, she's supposed to be naked, but one can see a strapless bra covering her right breast.

Sacha

Continuity mistake: After Bond guns the professor, he puts the light switch on the table above some cards. The amount of cards and their position to the edge of the table changes between shots.

Sacha

Continuity mistake: When Trench exits the shower and opens the door to Bond, her towel is covering her cleavage - or not, depending on the shot.

Sacha

Continuity mistake: When Bond and Honey are rescued in the small boat, Bond rises and places his hand on the side of the boat. From the opposite angle, his arm is resting on the side.

Sacha

Revealing mistake: When Honey is telling Bond how much money the shells are worth there is someone bobbing up and down just under Honey, possibly a film crew member holding an unseen microphone.

Continuity mistake: The car chase that ends with the quip, "they were on their way to a funeral." During this car chase, you can see both cars coming round the same bend not just once, but several times. In between, there are close-up interior shots of Bond too. But three of the longshots are all from the same curve.

Spiny Norman

Revealing mistake: After Bond attaches the silencer to his gun, the next shot is of Professor Dent approaching the house at nighttime. However, this shot is the same shot from earlier of Bond approaching the house during the day. It has simply been mirrored and darkened to hide this.

Audio problem: During the opening credits (while it says: "assistant director") you can briefly hear the next bit of music start 12 seconds too soon - there are a couple of notes from "three blind mice" starting to fade in from the percussion music. But more time was needed, so the last 12 second of the percussion number are repeated. A slightly clumsy edit to cover the credits running longer than planned (best heared with headphones).

Spiny Norman

Revealing mistake: Every time a shot of the hallway outside of Bond and Honey's room in Dr. No's lair is shown there are several doors on the same side of the hallway that lead too nowhere. Notice when Bond enters the room looking for Honey near the end we don't see the reverse of the doors from the inside of his room.

Question: When James Bond goes to see Professor Dent at his office, it's morning. After he leaves, Dent goes out to Dr. No's island and picks up the caged tarantula. The next time we see Bond, he's returning to his hotel, and it's night, probably late, as he goes to sleep soon after. Where did Bond go between seeing Dent in the morning and returning to his hotel that night?

Answer: It's obvious what he does between those times. In "Goldfinger," Felix Leiter sees him just moseying off between an event and the climax of the movie and says to his pal "Ten'll get you one it's a drink or a dame." No doubt Bond's using his time...productively.
