Revealing mistake: The fingerprint in Tiffany's photograph is 100% identical to the sample of Peter Franks in her system. It is impossible for two fingerprints to be exactly identical - in terms of the part of the finger it shows and the amount of paint on the print.
Continuity mistake: When Tiffany Case takes Bond's drink to put ice in it and check his fingerprints, when she gives Bond the drink back it has no ice when he smells the chemical on the glass.
Continuity mistake: When Bond's fighting in the lift, Tiffany comes out of her flat - she has her arms by her side as she sees the battle going on. After a cut, she's suddenly tucked against the door frame with her arms tucked in against her chest.

Revealing mistake: You can see the flame resistant sleeves on the actor or stuntman playing Mr Kidd, just before Bond sets him on fire.
Continuity mistake: Before Q explains how the electromagnetic ring works with the slot machines there's a close-up shot of the coins falling. His jacket is nowhere to be seen despite him being right next to the machine.
Continuity mistake: When Tiffany is about to grab Frank's wallet his shirt is covered in foam. When she reaches out for it the foam is gone and his shirt is wet.
Revealing mistake: After a policeman touches Mrs. Whistler's corpse's face she winces.

Couple shots later, when his body is submerged and just the feet are visible, they are skewed awkwardly to the side as if the ankles were broken, revealing he's been replaced by a dummy.
Continuity mistake: When the movie begins Bond chokes a girl with her bikini, light side of the fabric facing camera. A shot later it's the dark side facing.
Continuity mistake: When Bond is having his chase through Las Vegas with all the police there are several shots of the casino clocks in the background. At one point the time goes from 1:30 to almost 4 o'clock in just a few minutes.
Factual error: Diamonds, being pure carbon, would burn in the cremation of the body containing them. Cremation temperature is about 1,000 degrees Celsius, diamonds burn at about 850.
Continuity mistake: When Bond is speaking to Tiffany by the swimming pool, he puts one arm into his jacket, but when the camera is behind Bond in the next shot, the jacket is now completely on.
Continuity mistake: Tiffany is wearing a red and purple bikini top cover on the oil rig. But in the last oil rig scene where she shoots the machine gun from the tread of the crane and falls off the rig, her top changes color to brown and red. No purple at all.
Answer: If you mean by hiding - why is he never seen normally - then it's because he is a recluse and doesn't like to be seen in public (like Howard Hughes was). If you mean by hiding - why was he not seen during the movie - then it's because he was being held captive by Blofeld and his minions. Spectre didn't want him out and about ruining their plans.
