Other mistake: Murphy lands the helicopter on a railway line so an oncoming train will destroy it completely, and this happens exactly on cue with huge, dramatic explosions and flying debris. Apparently the train driver doesn't think this is important enough to interrupt his busy schedule - he doesn't stop the train. We do not hear brakes being applied - the wheels would make a noise like the sky coming down - and the train doesn't slow down at all - it just keeps on going.
Other mistake: When Ralphie and Flick are walking to school for the first time, they meet up with Schwartz, coming down the steps of his house which appears to be two houses down from Ralphie's. Later, when Ralphie is lying in bed after the soap in the mouth scene, the narrator (older Ralphie), states how "Three blocks away, Schwartz was getting his."
Other mistake: Towards the end of the movie, when Superman drops Gus off at the coal mine, Gus begins talking with the coal miners about him and Superman. He then rips open his shirt (as if he had a Superman costume on underneath). How did Gus know that Clark Kent tore his shirt like that in order to change into Superman, or keeps his suit under his clothes at all? The only people who know this fact are the ones who have seen the transformation from Clark to Superman, i.e. the audience.
Other mistake: When Jennifer meets David in Oregon she says she drove 3 hours to get there. In the next scene they are getting off a bus to catch the ferry. What happened to her car?
Suggested correction: There are possibilities off-screen as to why. It's possible that the bus used its own private road to get to the ferry which may be closed to the public, or the parking lot may have been too expensive and they parked on a street instead and caught a bus. It's not really known, but those are some possibilities.
Other mistake: In the scene that begins with "Three Months Later" where Tony and Manny are sitting at the table near the beach watching the girls in bikinis walk by, Manny is attempting to explain to Tony how to pick up women by explaining what "women in this country know and understand". After Manny sticks his tongue out to demonstrate and Tony asks Manny "what the f*ck was that, Mayne?", if you watch Al Pacino's lips as Steven Bauer is talking, you can see Al's lips moving in unison to whatever Steven is saying.
Other mistake: When Vader first arrives at the station, he and the Commander are walking past rows of troops. If you look carefully, you will see a Stormtrooper in the back row with his helmet tipped so far forward it's almost off.
Other mistake: During the scene when Clark is driving his family through the "rough part" of town in St. Louis, Clark asks his children if they are noticing all of the plight. Clark then makes the comment, "This will just make us appreciate what we have." A gunshot and a scream is heard, and Clark exclaims, "Roll 'em up!" A window is visible on Ellen's side of the car as she is rolling her window, up . But, there is no window on Clark's side of the car. Clark goes through the motions of rolling up his window, but . In actuality, he is rolling up nothing. Chevy Chase mentioned this during the cast commentary for the film. (00:13:50)
Other mistake: I don't care HOW hard it started raining at the end of the final football game, there is no way that the field got THAT muddy and that torn up only 30-45 seconds after the rain started.
Other mistake: When Jaws breaks the glass in the control room, it shatters and flies everywhere, but the water doesn't even move or give any indication of flooding the compartment.
Other mistake: When Bond drives into the train tunnel, below the train cart with the jewelry, we see that welding is going on in the other train cart. But that is before the bomb is placed in the hole below the cannon. There is no sign of weldings, and no sign of welding equipment once we get inside that cart.
Other mistake: In the scene where Jesse enters Monica's apartment, he consults her calendar to see in which class she is in school that day. There's nothing unusual about this until you look closely at the calendar and see that time time is early/mid August. Did her school's academic year run differently from other schools' years, or was she taking summer classes? The latter doesn't seem likely.
Other mistake: When Norman and Mary are at the swamp, the sheriff hands him the ashtray they found and bates explains that it belonged to Mr Toomey. Mary say "Who"? and the sheriff explains who he is. This makes no sense as Mary knew full well who Toomey was and had no reason to play dumb.
Suggested correction: She wasn't playing dumb. She says WHO because she didn't hear the name correctly.
Other mistake: When Harry gets to his vacation spot he is greeted by a dog. A few seconds later the dog is seen lifting his leg to pee, showing his dog is a male. Later on in the film after he returns home after the main killer has killed the second victim, the dog is scratching at the door. If you pause the movie at this moment you notice the dog has a sagging belly with nipples just like a female dog after delivering puppies. (00:48:05 - 00:57:20)
Other mistake: At the start of the movie it shows the house at front view and the sky is very very grey, it looks like it's about to rain, then after a short scene inside the house it goes back outside and the sky is clearly blue with not a cloud in sight. (00:12:00)
Other mistake: During the scene in which Jackie and his girlfriend are being chased on bikes they hide in a shop. When the men chasing them stop outside of the shop, the subtitles read 'This is a dead end, we'll spilt up'. Spilt up?
Other mistake: When the astronauts are in front of the space craft and have reached terms with the scientists, Carpenter whistles then waves the press in. One of the pressmen says "Look, Glenn's waving us in!", he should have said Carpenter. The astronauts were all very high profile persons in the press and would be easily identifiable and the press members were top notch professionals so it is not considered a character mistake. (01:41:00)
Other mistake: During the police chase, Mick hits Paco's little brother and then slams into the white van, and it instantly bursts into flames creating an inferno. Which would not occur under normal circumstances. But merely dramatized for movie effect.
Other mistake: In the marching up and down the square skit, the guy behind Eric Idle is trying not to laugh. (00:33:35 - 00:34:05)
Other mistake: When Kenny throws the car in gear at the grocery store, he throws it into drive, but the car goes backwards.
Other mistake: At the beginning of the film, the car with three wheels enters into the car park of the race track. You can see where the brake disc has gouged out the tarmac on an earlier take.
