Audio problem: When Marlin and Dory swim into the deepest part of the ocean to reclaim their mask, they see a light (which we know later, belongs to an angler fish). They stop right underneath the light and says "What is it?" but his mouth doesn't match the movements. It looks as though the animators had Albert Brooks (Marlin's voice actor) say a different line than what was animated.

Factual error: Jacques the cleaner shrimp is in a lot of trouble. He is sharing an aquarium with Bloat, a long-spined porcupine fish. Shrimp and other crustaceans are their favourite food.
Suggested correction: Suspension of disbelief. Sharks eat fish, and don't try to rehabilitate themselves to not eating fish. Besides I'm sure the others would have convinced Bloat not to eat Jacques.
Marlin: If this is some kind of practical joke, it's not funny, and I know funny. I'm a clownfish.
Trivia: The dentist's name, P. Sherman, is a homage to the many Filipino crew members, whose native accent made the English word 'fisherman' sound like P. Sherman.
Question: What kind of bird is Nigel? He looks a lot like an Albatross to me.
Chosen answer: Nigel is a pelican - he appears to be modelled on a Brown pelican (although that particular species is not actually native to Australia).
