Plot hole: At the end of the film, Trevor McDonald reads the news and says "the spy, who we cannot name for legal reasons..." Yet on screen, one of the newspapers that flashes up (I think it's The Times), has a headline congratulating Johnny English by name. He's not going to be a secret spy for long if they reveal that.

Johnny English (2003)
1 plot hole - chronological order
Directed by: Peter Howitt
Starring: John Malkovich, Rowan Atkinson, Ben Miller, Natalie Imbruglia
Other mistake: In the chase scene, where Johnny and Bough are chasing the hearse, when Bough and Johnny are discussing where the hearse went, Johnny says "They were heading south." Then he turns the steering wheel to his right, yet when it shows a view of the truck it turns to it's left. (00:22:15)
Bough: Did you just land on the wrong building?
Johnny English: I did a precautionary sweep of the immediate environment.
Bough: Right.
Johnny English: And everything was fine.
Trivia: The suit English is wearing when he meets Agent One looks like the famous Mr. Bean costume that Rowen Atkinson is famous for.
Question: At the very end of the movie, when Lorna is ejected from the car and lands in the pool, the man that has frizzy orange hair, that Johnny claimed was an assailant earlier in the movie, is looking over his newspaper. Who played that guy?
Answer: Simon Bernstein plays the assailant.
