Continuity mistake: When the SWAT team are inside the mansion, Logan jumps down to save Rogue Bobby and John, and he chucks two guys back some distance. In the overhead shot, the four SWAT guys are together on the floor, instead of two of them being some distance away like we saw in the previous shot. (00:38:25)
Continuity mistake: When Wolverine handed the bottle of Dr Pepper to Bobby, he was holding the body of the bottle. But when the shot changes to show Bobby taking the bottle, Wolverine was holding the bottle neck. (00:30:00)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Wolverine is talking to Stryker in the mansion corridor, Bobby creates an ice wall between them, including the wall. Shortly afterwards when they leave and Bobby takes his hand away, the wall suddenly has no frost on it at all. (00:41:45)
Continuity mistake: When Grace (Mystique) walks up to the guard of the plastic prison and sits down opposite him, she puts down two beers on the table and puts her hands to her chest. In the following shot her left hand is still on the beer glass. (00:44:20)
Continuity mistake: In the museum scene at the beginning when Iceman freezes the guy on the floor, you can see a guy standing beside him with jeans and red boots on. The shot goes back to the guy on the floor and the one who was standing beside him is now standing behind him. (00:09:50)
Visible crew/equipment: Right after Cerebro begins to kill all the mutants, Mystique gets down on her knees in pain and tells Magneto to hurry. The next scene is a shot of Stryker running down a corridor and opening a door to go outside. Before he opens the door, you can see the shadow of a crew member going across the door.
Revealing mistake: On the DVD, in the shot where Nightcrawler is hanging upside down while eavesdropping, you can see part of the harness at his waist and part of the wire that is suspending him in the tree. Look near his elbow.
Continuity mistake: When Nightcrawler is inside the Oval Office, he jumps on the President, and the President's leather chair changes direction between shots. (00:04:35)
Continuity mistake: Close to the beginning of the film when we see Wolverine approach Cerebro, you can see him from the back entering Cerebro from the left, yet on the face shot he is entering Cerebro from the right. (00:18:35)
Continuity mistake: When Xavier is in the plastic prison with Magneto, at the end of this scene, you see Xavier put his hands on the doors of the prison, but in the following shot from outside the prison his hands have changed positions on the doors. (00:33:10)
Suggested correction: When Xavier is in the plastic prison with magneto, at the end of the scene Xavier has not changed his hands positioning, his right arm is up and his left arm is half way, on the following shot outside the prison his right arm is up and his left arm is up half way, it's a mirror image.
The mistake isn't saying his right and left hand have switched because they were confused about the "mirror" image. You can see the left arm is lower. At first the left elbow is above the frosted part, but in the next shot, it's well below and the hand is closer to the frosted part.
Audio problem: When Bobby's brother dials 911 you hear 3 tones (for the 3 digits he dials). But the 3 tones aren't the right tones you hear when you dial 911 from a touch tone phone. In fact the 2nd and 3rd tones should be the same because it's the same digit but they were different. As if someone just dialed 3 random digits. And there's no doubt he dialed 911 because the operator answers "911". (00:56:55)
Continuity mistake: When Wolverine is first seen, the camera pans along a barbed wire fence which is almost straight, yet in another shot, all the barbed wire is broken off the fence or is hanging down from it. (00:05:45)
Continuity mistake: When Wolverine locks up Stryker in the chopper, he just wraps the chain around Stryker's chest to start with. But when he completes the link and pats Stryker on the shoulder, Stryker's hands are suddenly behind his back. (01:43:10)
Revealing mistake: In the beginning of the movie when Wolverine puts the cigar out in his hand, you can see the mark of a wedding ring on his ring finger (Hugh Jackman is married). Even if Wolverine got married during the "blurred" bit of his memory so doesn't remember it (tenuous at best), his healing ability would have removed any ring mark. Either way it just doesn't belong. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Stryker is walking through the tunnel in Alkali Lake, a drop of water drips onto his glasses thereby alerting him to the breaking of the dam. He examines the drop on his lens, but when he puts his glasses back on, the lens is dry. (01:29:05)
Continuity mistake: When Jean and Storm first meet Nightcrawler and hold him upside-down in mid-air, his cloak hangs down ("up" by his viewpoint) in the shots facing him, but in the shots facing Jean and Storm his cloak is not hanging down (so we can see the two of them).
Revealing mistake: In the part where Mystique (as Grace) and the guard are in the bathroom, right after the guard drinks the rest of the beer and passes out, Mystique turns him over and you can see the guard move his right leg to steady himself even though he is supposed to be knocked out. (00:47:00)
Continuity mistake: When Cyclops knocks Lady Deathstrike down with his beam at the plastic prison of Magneto and she gets back up, her eyes are blue with the contacts. However, when she flies through the air and pins Cyclops against the wall, her eyes are their natural color, brown.
Revealing mistake: The blue skin coloring is dripping down Nightcrawler's teeth in the scene where he and Storm are talking about his skin scars in the Jet. (00:57:55)
