Visible crew/equipment: In the "Roxie" number, just after Roxie sings "that means somebody everyone knows" she goes down a line of mirrors and as she does you can see three crew members with what looks to be a camera in front of the middle one. Their figures are somewhat dark, so it's a bit hard to see, but it's there.
Chicago (2002)
1 visible crew/equipment mistake - chronological order
Directed by: Rob Marshall
Starring: Richard Gere, John C. Reilly, Queen Latifah, Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Lucy Liu, Taye Diggs
Factual error: In the scene where Roxie is placed in the "paddy wagon" to be taken to Cook County Jail, the prosecutor refers to himself as District Attorney Harrison. However, the court system in Illinois doesn't have district attorneys; rather, they have state's attorneys. The original play by Maureen Watkins correctly calls him a state's attorney.
Velma Kelly: Well, you wanted my advice, right? Whatever it is, don't forget Billy Flinn's number-one client is Billy Flynn.
Trivia: Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Richard Gere all did their own dancing and singing.
Question: What happened to the original poster with Roxy and Velma holding guns behind their backs? In all the more recent ones the guns are gone. Why?

Answer: I have both the DVD and the soundtrack. On the DVD cover they have the guns, however on the soundtrack cover, their arms look like they have been cut out of the picture along with the guns. Possibly somebody thought that it was a bad influence, since many young people enjoy the movie as well.
