Continuity mistake: When Sid and Bernie leave Mrs. Fussey's house, Sid is seen with an umbrella in his hand. Sid then gives Bernie the umbrella which he wedges in the left hand side of the roof rack. But when the camera cuts to the left hand side of the car, the umbrella has gone.
Revealing mistake: In several shots when Babs is in the showers, the girl in the shower next to hers can be seen to be wearing a blue swimsuit. (01:15:10)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film in the cinema Sid's ice lolly has two bites at the side. Shortly afterwards, with no new bites taken, they're different shapes.
Audio problem: When Sid is trying to talk to Babs through the wall in the washroom, he tells Bernie that he can hear her. But what you hear is Babs saying "Sorry for bursting in you last night sir" to Dr. Soaper inside the youth hostel.
Continuity mistake: Mr Muggins gets into a blue sleeping bag. In the morning as the Potters leave it's a brown bag. Later seen with a girl carrying it. His bag goes back to blue.
Continuity mistake: When Matron walks over to Dr Soaper's tent, you can see the top button of her night dress is done up. But when she is in the tent, it has been undone.
Revealing mistake: When we see Sid's tent expand and come out of the ground after Bernie pulled the dinghy cord, you can see there is nobody in the tent.
Continuity mistake: When Sid drives his car around the bed on his way to picking up Joan and Anthea, he passes two girls walking down the pavement, but in the shot from the rear window, the girls have disappeared.
Revealing mistake: During the keep fit session, Babs' bra is seen falling off in a downwards direction, yet it still manages to hit Dr Soaper in the face.
Revealing mistake: When we see the coach driving down the country lane, you can see that the driver is not Julian Holloway but his stunt double.
Continuity mistake: When Sid and Bernie are in the car on their way to pick up Joan and Anthea, Sid drives the car around a bend, but in the very next shot he's on a straight piece of road.
Continuity mistake: When Sid and Bernie come out of their tent to go the washroom, Bernie is starting to put on his shirt. After a quick cut to Sid, we return to Bernie and he has now managed to get his shirt completely on and buttoned in the space of about 5 seconds.
Continuity mistake: During the scene when Sid James tries to speak to Barbara Windsor through the wall in the wash room, you can see the hole he speaks through is small, yet in some close-ups appears quite large.
Continuity mistake: When we see Sid and Bernie sleeping outside their tent after their dinghy inflated, you can see that Bernie's head is tilted to his left and he is bending his left arm. In the next shot, both his head and left arm are now straightened.
Continuity mistake: When Matron goes over to see Dr. Soaper in his tent, the tent next to Soaper's has two chairs outside, but in the next shot another chair has suddenly appeared.
Continuity mistake: As they are about to leave in the car in front of the house, Mrs. Fussey is right behind Sid as he walks round the car. However, when you see the next shot she is far behind him.
Continuity mistake: On the first night at the camp site it is raining. Before Sid and Bernie go to sleep, Bernie accidentally inflates the rubber dinghy, but the outside shot of the dinghy inflating in the tent shows that it is not raining.
Continuity mistake: When Sid James puts his feet into Joan Sims' stew, you can see that there is a blue tent behind him, but when we see Sid a couple of shots later, the tent has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: Whilst walking down the corridor in the school, Miss Haggerd hears a noise coming from the classroom. She goes to the door and opens it with her left hand, but in the next scene she is seen opening the door with her right hand.
Continuity mistake: When Sid puts his feet into the pot of Joan's stew, you can see that Anthea is sitting down peeling vegetables and she is nowhere near Sid. But when Joan says, "Sid, my stew!" the scene changes to a close-up of the pot, and Anthea is now sitting next to Sid.
