Revealing mistake: When Jan and Pam are fighting, you can tell for most of the stunts Winona Ryder isn't doing them, and it's a double. For instance when she runs into Jan, and gets knocked to the floor, and when she gets thrown into a table. This is confirmed on the commentary too. (01:10:50)

Continuity mistake: In the Pizza shop, When Pam kicks Jan in the stomach, Jan goes flying and hits a table, and then slides off the table on the floor. In the following closeup, Jan is lying on the table, and pieces of broken wood also appear around her which weren't previously there. (01:11:30)

Visible crew/equipment: When Pam chucks the pizza dough at Jan, in the top left hand corner of the screen you can see a crewmember's hand come into view quickly. (01:11:30)

Continuity mistake: After Pam falls through the ice, into the freezing water, she goes from having both arms out of the water to having one arm underwater between shots. (01:12:45)

Other mistake: Near the end of the movie, directly after Deeds pulls Babe out of the ice cold water, is it just me or is her Old-Navy-type jacket still dry? (It still looks light colored and fuzzy) Should it not be wet considering her whole body was just in water? (01:14:25)

Continuity mistake: When Deeds walks into the big meeting and Chuck says he has no right to speak, Deeds say he has bought one share in Blake Media. Deeds is holding a piece of paper, and between shots, the way he holds the paper changes. (01:17:05)

Hamster

Continuity mistake: In the shareholder meeting, Chuck says "Blake media is no more" and is about to hit the gavel onto the lectern, when Pam/Babe walks in, and in a closeup of Chuck he holds the gavel up shoulder height. Yet in the following wideshot, he isn't holding it. (01:20:45)

Continuity mistake: When Pam enters the shareholder meeting, she walks up to the front, but between three shots she rewalks her same steps. You can easily tell this because she passes the same people who are sitiing down, between the shots. (01:20:45)

Hamster

Continuity mistake: When Pam/Babe walks into the shareholder meeting, in a wide shot Deeds has his head turned and is looking in her direction, yet there is a following closeup of a suprised looking Deeds turning to her direction once again. (01:20:45)

Hamster

Continuity mistake: In the big meeting at the end, Babe (Pam) runs in, carrying some files and Preston Blake's diary. She is holding some files, and the blue file is showing. Yet moments later, between shots, the blue file jumps into the middle of the files, and now the white files are showing. (01:21:05)

Audio problem: When Emilio finds out he is the rightful owner to the majority of the shares, he fires Chuck and Chuck yells "You can't fire me!" His mouth doesn't move though. (01:23:00)

Continuity mistake: When Emilio finds out he is the rightful heir to $40 billion, he is standing at a wooden lectern, and he says to Deeds "And you, Long-Long-Longfellow..." and there is a shot of Emilio from behind, and there is nothing resting on the lectern, yet in the following wideshot, a gavel is laying on the lectern. (01:24:35)

Continuity mistake: In the part where Pam falls into the ice and Deeds rescues her, she comes out of the water and her hair is soaking wet but when she is lying on the ice, her hair looks like it has been dried with a towel. (01:37:00)

Factual error: In the scene when Deeds rescues the woman from the fire, right before him and her jump out the window, all seven cats were rescued, but we can visually see a black cat on the left of the screen on top of the stove. Deeds and the woman jump from the window, leaving the black cat on top of the stove to burn in the fire. All seven cats were obviously not rescued.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Deeds is tossing the cats out the window, he throws a black cat with white paws which gets caught by a dog. The dog runs by a guy who suddenly has the cat in his hands without bending over to pick it up. Not only that, but the cat has become grey with black stripes.

Continuity mistake: Murph is helping out at Deed's pizza shop early in the film. In the scene where he is talking to Deeds, a Pepsi cup disappears off his serving tray.

Continuity mistake: Deeds beats up an opera singer and another rich guy. Pam catches it all on her button camera, but she wouldn't be able to see both assaults from a different view, she shows the same views of the assaults as the actual movie itself shows.

Visible crew/equipment: On the video, in the ice scene just before Deeds pulls Pam from the water, you can see the legs of someone standing in the background that appear quite obvious against the snow and are definitely not tree trunks.

Audio problem: In the basketball stadium scene, when Deeds is checking everything to make sure it's all right, the violin player plays a couple of notes. The violin player's fingers and bowing don't match the notes he's playing.

Revealing mistake: Deeds says give the money to them, the United Negro College Fund. When the money is handed over, the title on the desk says NAACP. In the credits, an NAACP official is listed but not one for the UNCF.

Nazo, the Italian Delivery Man: Holy Shit, it's a cat.

Chosen answer: Helicopter performance is dependent on a number of factors, including air density. As altitude increases, air density decreases and the performance of the helicopter falls as well. At the height of Mt Everest, the air density has fallen to a sufficient degree that most helicopters would be unable to function (few helicopters are capable of functioning above 20,000 feet, nine thousand feet lower than the summit of Everest).
