Mr. Deeds (2002)
Ending / spoiler
Directed by: Steven Brill
Starring: Adam Sandler, Steve Buscemi, Winona Ryder, John Turturro, Peter Gallagher, Allen Covert
Deeds shows up at the stockholders' meeting and gives a rousing speech convincing everyone except for Chuck Cedar to not pass the bill, but Cedar controls 51%, so it doesn't matter. But then Babe shows up with Preston Blake's diary and a work shift schedule and some startling news: it turns out the butler, Amilio, is the heir to billions left behind, not Deeds. Amilio fires Cedar and he's taken out by security. He gives Deeds 1 billion dollars. Deeds goes back to Mandrake Falls with Babe and gives the entire town all new Corvettes.
