Continuity mistake: When Jason, as a kid, comes out of the mirror and grabs Rennie by her throat, Jason's grip on her throat differ between the shots. (00:32:00)

Continuity mistake: When Rennie goes to the bathroom after the scene where she gets thrown overboard, her hair is still wet but her clothes are completely dry. (00:32:05)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Tamara gets out of the shower, her silk gown which hangs on the handrail changes position between shots. (00:35:45)

Continuity mistake: When Jason grabs the policeman, the policeman's hat falls to the floor. In the next shot it's back on his head. (01:11:50)

Continuity mistake: As Jason is dunking McCulloch in a barrell of toxic waste, a big wet stain of sludge on McCulloch's trouser, to the left, disappears between shots. (01:17:50)

Continuity mistake: When Rennie and Sean walk out of the subway onto the streets, they walk across the metal grids on the floor twice. (01:22:45)

Continuity mistake: In the streets, Rennie and Sean run past a group of teens, and behind them, look at the "Howard Johnson" sign. It is dark and unlit. But when Jason passes them, it is lit up. When Jason then turns and shows the teenagers his face, the sign is once again unlit. (01:23:30)

Continuity mistake: After Jason kicks the teen's radio to the floor, they stand up, and the street behind them has a lot of cars on it. In the next shot, as Jason shows them his face, the street is now almost completely empty. (01:23:40)

Continuity mistake: When Jason grabs the man in the diner he is several paces to the right of the mirror, but when he throws the man into the mirror Jason can clearly be seen in the reflection standing right across from it. (01:24:35)

Continuity mistake: When Sean, Rennie and the sewage worker walk down the sewers, in frontal shots and reverse shots, the sewage worker repeatedly changes from holding his flashlight by his side / out in front. (01:26:55)

Continuity mistake: The black sludge on the girl's white pants when she's in the sewer at the end is constantly changing. It sometimes changes position or isn't there at all in later shots. The best example is when she lures Jason away from the guy that just got knocked out and runs into the dead end. She slides down the wall next to the toxic chemical container and the back and sides of her pants are completely covered in the black sludge, when she runs away, her pants are totally clean. Plot hole: In Part VII Jason's clothes were shredded and you could see his spine, kneecaps, etc. but now his clothes appear almost intact.

Trivia: In the original script, after making it to the docks, a dog would appear and start barking at Jason prompting Jason to kick it. Kane Hodder refused and even stated that as evil as Jason was, he'd never hurt an animal, so the scene was dropped.

Question: What was with the ending? He melts down to a regular looking boy when in the original he was shown as deformed. I hate this ending, consider it the weakest and worst of the franchise.
