Osmosis Jones

Trivia: In the widely released version of Osmosis Jones in the background of the opening chase scene, a remix of Foreigner's 'Hot Blooded' plays, but in the VHS release it plays Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant.

Trivia: Thrax is like Morpheous from the Matrix trilogy. His black coat, black glasses and he is even voiced by Laurence Fishburne. In his end fight with Osmosis there is a very clear Matrix reference (the bullettime effect).

Trivia: In the line to the bladder, when Jones is trying to stop Drix from leaving, you see one of the creatures holding Pikachu from Pokémon (when Jones says "get your time-release butt off this boat"). At the time of the film, 2001, the Pokémon TV series was airing on Kids' WB and WB was the distributor of "Osmosis Jones."

Trivia: In various shots, Drix can be seen blinking one eye before the other.

Trivia: Originally there was going to be a toy line made for Osmosis Jones, but WB lost faith in the project and canceled their release. Only prototypes of the toys exist today.

Trivia: When put in the eye of the public (whenever cameras are around), Drix can be seen flexing in different poses.

Trivia: When Thrax hijacks a vehicle and throws out the driver, the driver yells a Wilhelm scream.

Deliberate mistake: The 'NNN' news program shows a picture of some animal crackers in Frank's stomach. The problem is, they are still all in one piece and are pretty big. I don't think Frank would swallow them whole.

Osmosis: We were so poor, we lived off peanut butter and cellulite sandwiches! You ever try to blow-dry your hair with a fart?
Drix: OK, I get it. You were poor.
Osmosis: You bet I was! You ever try to make a snowman out of toilet paper cling-ons? Now that's poor!
Drix: OK, please, you're going to make me vomit!
Osmosis: Vomit? We couldn't afford no vomit; that's for rich folk.
Drix: Excuse me while I wipe my eyes.
Osmosis: Oh, you wanna talk about wiping?
Drix: No.

Question: What happened to Shane's mom? In one scene we learn that she died because she was sick but what did she have that caused her to die?

Answer: Just like Frank, Shane's mom never ate healthily. Instead, like Frank, she probably just ate whatever she wanted, so she most likely died from a heart attack from eating unhealthy foods or from obesity.
