Continuity mistake: During the underwater scene, Sisman gets carried away on the shark's back and drops a Theodore doll to the ocean floor, which is soon retrieved by Eleanor. But moments later when she and Jeanette carry Brittany to the surface, the doll is missing. (00:27:05)
Continuity mistake: After Brittany's close call with a shark, the other Chipettes lift her up towards the surface and place her on the pier. In between shots, Brittany's swim mask lifts from her face all by itself. (00:27:35)
Continuity mistake: After the Chipettes' shark incident in Bermuda, Brittany gets very annoyed when Eleanor picks up the Theodore doll. Right before the scene cuts away, Brittany has her arms crossed in two different manners between shots. (00:27:50)

Continuity mistake: When Mario walks over to the pool and informs Claudia about a long-distance call, a table with a closed umbrella is visible in the foreground with three red chairs surrounding it. But a few moments later when Klaus is being thrown back and forth around the pool in his deflating armchair, an overhead view of the same table shows only one chair next to it. (00:31:05)
Continuity mistake: When Alvin and Brittany are in Athens, they start arguing over who's the hottest act in rock and roll. Notice how he's standing next to a green stool in front of some wooden containers loaded with grapes and apples. But after Alvin says "No you don't!", Brittany loses her cool and walks over to challenge him. However he's suddenly off-screen somewhere and nowhere near the fruit stand. (00:34:10)
Continuity mistake: On their way to the Parthenon, the Chipmunks knock down a fruit vendor's tent. When Dave appears from beneath the sheet a second later we can see how one of the tent's support poles is broken in half, but in the previous shot none of the poles were even close to being damaged as they toppled over. Continuity mistake: When the Chipmunks and Chipettes are singing "The Girls of Rock n' Roll" in Athens, Alvin starts the second verse by grabbing a small 4-string harp from a nearby statue. In the very same shot he begins to strum it like a guitar, but now one of the strings is missing. Just a couple of shots later, Alvin is dancing in front of Simon & Theodore and playing the same harp - only this time it has five strings instead of three. (00:35:50)
Continuity mistake: When Miss Miller is getting ready to bake something next to the kitchen sink, she receives a call from Dave in Athens. Throughout their conversation, Miss Miller's bowl and ingredients keeps disappearing and reappearing in the background between shots. (00:38:10)
Continuity mistake: As the Chipettes drift into Egyptian territory, their hot air balloon is seized by a guard's grappling hook. At first two of its hooks are lodged into the balloon's basket, but a few seconds later three hooks are lodged there instead. (00:40:40)
Continuity mistake: As the Arabian guard climbs a long flight of stairs to bring Chipmunk and Chipette dolls to the prince's throne, his outfit changes between shots. (00:41:45)
Continuity mistake: Right before the young Arabian prince stands on his throne and informs everybody that he will make Brittany one of his wives someday, the guards standing behind the Chipettes are seen wearing different colored outfits between shots. (00:42:25)
Continuity mistake: When Eleanor has the baby penguin in her arms, she opens its heart locket with her right hand. In the following shot her right hand is holding the back of its head instead. (00:44:30)
Continuity mistake: After trying to entice the primitive tribe with flashy clothes and a boom box, Alvin and Simon get tied to a hut. The four ropes around their wrists are initially tied together in one knot right above their heads. But once they notice that Theodore is being pampered like a god, Alvin and Simon's wrist ropes are suddenly knotted separately instead. (00:51:05)
Continuity mistake: When the Chipettes are in flight to their next destination, Brittany asks Jeannette for a bite to eat. Between shots, Eleanor's head is suddenly resting on her right hand. (00:52:40)
Continuity mistake: When Eleanor tries keeping Jeannette away from the cooler, a wooden crate beneath her changes design between shots. (00:52:45)
Continuity mistake: Before "My Mother" when the Chipettes are arguing about what to do with the baby penguin, the ice cooler's hinges disappear in one shot. (00:53:05)
Continuity mistake: When Eleanor is trying to feed the ailing baby penguin with a spoon, it refuses to eat. So she places the spoon near two bowls at her side. In the following shot Eleanor can be seen dipping a rag into one of the bowls - but now her spoon is nowhere to be found. (00:54:00)
Continuity mistake: During a flashback scene where the mama penguin tucks her baby into bed, the blanket edge keeps changing color. Depending on the shot, it's either purple or white. (00:55:15)
Continuity mistake: Right after the flashback scene in "My Mother," Eleanor cradles the baby penguin close to her. Notice how she's sitting beside a pair of bowls. In the next shot she lifts it up towards the sky, but now the bowls have vanished. (00:55:40)
