Arthur

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Linda is in the car with Bitterman, she says, "Oh, here comes Mrs. Nezbeth..." While she is saying that in that shot, she turns around and looks out the rear window of the car. In the next couple of shots, outside of the car, Mrs. Nezbeth is coming from the opposite direction Linda looked.

Continuity mistake: Arthur and Hobson run outside to watch Linda after she steals a tie. Hobson is holding a bag with a box in it. Later in the scene, when Arthur is putting Linda in his limo, he hands her the box. Two problems. First, we never see the box being taken out of the bag. And second, the box presumably contains Arthur's purchases. Why would he give it to her? In the next scene, Linda's father opens the box, and it contains the stolen tie.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Linda gives her dad the stolen tie as a gift, he puts it on. As he talks to Linda about meeting Arthur, the tie constantly changes length up and down.

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, Bitterman gets out of the car to give the other prostitute $100. On a wide shot, he is reaching into his pocket to get the money. But when they cut to a tight shot, the woman already has the money in her hands.

Continuity mistake: When Aunt Martha shows Arthur her newly purchased painting she has to tear away the brown wrapping covering it. A moment later she hands a piece of the wrapping to a maid, but the scraps Martha hands her has been crumpled up and smoothed out many times over, not just torn away as we saw Martha do.

Continuity mistake: In the first morning scene when Hobson goes to open the window blinds after he wakes Arthur up after his night with the hooker, his right jacket sleeve is pulled up showing his complete shirt cuff. When the scene cuts to his reverse shot the jacket cuff is properly down.
