Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when Spider Mike is rescued from a town. The Rubber Duck's truck is damaged. It loses the bullbars on the front, and the windbreaker on the roof is flattened against the roof of the cab. Yet after leaving the town, in a series of shots showing the Rubber Duck's truck. The damage disappears or varies. The windbreaker appears fixed and so do the bars, but in the next shot just the windbreaker is fixed and the bars aren't. It continues like this through a montage and then in the next scene when it cuts back to a close up of the truck both are damaged again. (01:47:40)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when Rubber Duck's truck is being shot to pieces, the gunmen take out his remaining headlamp (he lost the first running through the road block) twice.
Continuity mistake: When Pig Pen crashes his truck into the jail to get Spider Mike, the windshield of his truck is cracked (shot of Ali in the back shows the crack), but when they are heading to Mexico, his windshield is no longer cracked (when the food is thrown at his truck after the ice cream truck wreck.).
Visible crew/equipment: When the truck is getting shot on the bridge, you see Rubber Duck get down on the floor of his cab and this is shown in many following shots. Just before the truck falls off the bridge, there is a short shot from inside the cab looking out. Somebody is sitting in the driver's seat, steering.
Revealing mistake: After the trailer explodes on the bridge, towards the end the truck swerves to the left. As it drives off the bridge there is no tail shaft between the gearbox and front diff - the truck falling off the bridge is just a shell.
Continuity mistake: When RD's truck is halfway across the bridge being shot at from both ends, a police officer shoots a single shot at rear of tanker, from his .38 revolver causing the tanker to explode- but explosion encircles rear. A full view of bridge from side shows tanker exploded at center and tanker is seen as if was cut at center in V shape.
Visible crew/equipment: In the beginning when the Jaguar is passing Rubber Duck's truck, there is a reflection of two camera lights on the side of the sleeper compartment.
Continuity mistake: When Pig Pen's truck collides with the ice cream truck, one of the rear doors on the ice cream truck falls off and lands on the street. A couple of shots later, it is hanging by one of its hinges. When Rubber Duck is stopped near the bridge, the door is back on the street again.
