Avatar: The Way of Water is a phenomenal story about the extended Sully family joining forces with the Reef People against the selfish and dangerous humans, who allege that Earth is dying YET still want to take over the planet and obtain a scarce liquid from Pandora's whale-like creatures. More fighting, philosophy, love and family by James Cameron. Epic underwater scenes, flight and some harrowing moments. While not very gory, there are moments of peril and death. It's very good.

Erik M.

Continuity mistake: After Quaritch wakes up and jumps from his bed, there is a towel laying at the foot end of it, but in the next shot, the towel is gone. (00:09:25)

Jake Sully: I see now. I can't save my family by running. This is our home. This is our fortress. This is where we make our stand.

Trivia: There are scenes in this movie that are reminiscent of well-known scenes from other James Cameron movies. When Spider is in captivity, he bangs a chair into a 2 way mirror, such as in True Lies. When Jake and Neytiri are trapped in an oxygen bubble, they need to try to hold their breath to escape, similar to The Abyss. Other scenes when the whale hunting ship is sinking are reminiscent of Titanic, such as being handcuffed to the ship while it is sinking.
