Factual error: When "H" is shooting at the target, the paper holes are wrong. Bullets make clean precise holes on paper targets. (00:08:20)
Other mistake: When "H" and "Danny" are talking, while walking to the car, right after Danny comes back with the jacket, as he opens the door on the SUV, the passenger door hits something hard as he opens it, and they left the audible "thud" in the final production. It cuts away right after, as it looks like he would have a hard time getting in the car, as the door didn't open very far. (00:41:00)
Continuity mistake: The way "H" was lying on the road after getting shot was different in the aerial view shown shortly thereafter. H's body motions after getting shot were awkward enough - falling backwards but somehow managing to twist his body so that he could land facing the culprits. His body ended up being at about a 45°angle to the road barricades, but was parallel in the aerial view. Also, the road barriers would have blocked his view of the shooter and the ability of the shooter to look into his eyes. (01:13:35 - 01:13:56)
Other mistake: The driver tells his partner that his firearm is empty, and he has no bullets in it. In the beginning he was given a loaner firearm until he could purchase his own. He's been with the company for a while now so that makes no sense. Also, for a trained professional who killed six robbers with precise accuracy it's hard to fathom he would not notice his gun weighing less. A loaded Glock 17 weighs 8.5 ounces heavier than an empty one. Plus the guards carry spare magazines, where are his? (01:20:00 - 01:22:30)
Factual error: The robbers are engaged in a gun fight with the depot guards. They are all using 5.56x45 Nato / .223 caliber bullets. The robbers have plate carriers on and plastic panels all over their bodies. The only thing that can stop a high power rifle round is ceramic plate or steel plates not plastic. Even if a plate is hit with a high power rifle round it has the power to knock the wind out of somebody. These robbers were shot probably 20 times each. Plus no face mask is rifle resistant, only handgun. (01:27:00 - 01:30:00)
Revealing mistake: After he takes his plate carrier off which looks suspiciously light, the rest of his armor is air-soft gear meant to stop BB's, not high power 5.56 rounds. (01:43:00 - 01:45:00)
Plot hole: In a heist that started with 7 men, they only thought to acquire 2 quad bikes for part of their getaway, fortunately only 2 men reached that stage of the plan. (01:44:44)
Suggested correction: My understanding is that two guys were supposed to load the quads with the cash, then load the cash into the Prius and those two guys take off from there. We hear this being recited in the planning stages, which is being shown to us as the action is unfolding. He then says that anyone remaining is to take the pickup truck. They would have wanted to get the cash off site ASAP, so the plan was likely that the remaining guys get to the pickup truck on foot.
Character mistake: When the thieves exit the depot in the armed truck, the dispatcher over the radio says that they are on "405." Everyone in LA uses the article "the" for a highway so it always is "the 405". Also, the truck is on a city street parallel to the highway, not the 405 anyway.
Other mistake: When the Prius exits, they are in long Beach as we see from the semi-iconic green bridges, that seems unrealistically far away from the depot.
Factual error: Jackson says goodbye to his wife and kids as they are headed to school... Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) is a school holiday in the US...all schools are closed that day.
Audio problem: Towards the middle of the movie, the crew kidnaps a guy named Jerome while he is asleep in bed with a lady. While they are taking him we hear the lady screaming, but if you look at her face, she is not screaming at all.
