Other mistake: At the beginning, when Tae-ho brings a bag of rice to a group of three people, the woman sitting at the desk begins banging her translation device on the table. She says "Damn it. Stupid piece of shit" in English whilst doing this, but the captions read [in German] instead of [in English]. The captions also says "Stupid asshole" instead of "Stupid piece of shit." (00:02:08)
Other mistake: When Tae-ho attempts to pay his fees with a bag of rice, two men attempt to escort him out of the room. He then says "Ah, come on, guys" in Korean, but the captions say [in English] instead. (00:02:20)
Continuity mistake: When Sullivan is talking with the reporters about the new Mars colony, the reporters notice that he is eating a sandwich with a dirty hand. When he says "This isn't dirty", his hand is pointed towards his face in one shot, but when the shot cuts, his hand is suddenly rotated 90° to the right. (00:07:35)
Other mistake: When Captain Jang is first introduced, she says "Out of my way, you fuckin' amateurs" in Korean, but the captions read [in English] instead of [in Korean]. (00:10:00)
Continuity mistake: When Tae-ho is in the cashier's office, just as he is told he'll need to pay an extra 70K for reassembly, his hand are placed on the desk in front of him, but in the next shot, his right hand is suddenly raised above the desk by a few inches. (00:14:30)
Continuity mistake: When Tae-ho has the $584 taken off him and is told he will have to pay $1300 for the broken antenna, he has his right hand placed on the desk, but when the shot cuts, his right hand is suddenly raised slightly. (00:14:40)
Continuity mistake: When the cashier hands Tae-ho his taxes, the envelope that is pressed against his thumb rotates itself by 180° when the camera cuts to a closer shot of the envelopes. There is also the word "URGENT" on the envelope which changes to "FINAL NOTICE" in the close-up. (00:14:45)
Continuity mistake: When Tae-ho is given his taxes after having his money taken off him, he rotates his right hand towards himself so that he can look over the envelopes. The camera then cuts to focus on the cashier and Tae-ho can be seen in the corner of shot, where his right hand and the envelopes haven't moved. When the shot cuts to focus on Tae-ho again, his right hand is suddenly extended. (00:14:50)
Continuity mistake: When Tae-ho tries to take back the money that was taken off him, the cashier pulls out a knife. In one shot, the cashier has the knife at a horizontal angle and begins rotating the knife upwards. When the shot cuts, the knife is suddenly nearly at a horizontal angle again. (00:14:59)
Other mistake: Pierre bumps into Tae-ho and asks "Oh, how's Captain Jang? Beautiful as ever?" in French. Tae-ho then says "She asked me to tell you" in Korean, but the captions read [in English]. Pierre replies in French, to which Tae-ho replies "If you talk to her again, she'll kill you" in Korean, but the captions incorrectly say [in English] again. (00:15:50)
Continuity mistake: When Jang and Tiger are talking at the poker game, Jang points a gun at Tiger and is the gun seen pressing against Tiger's forehead. In the next shot, the gun is suddenly a few inches away from Tiger's forehead. (00:18:40)
Continuity mistake: Just after Jang points her gun at Tiger during the poker game, Tae-ho is shown with only his right hand raised whilst Bubs is saying "Oh, remember the grace period for our loan is up." When the shot cuts, Tae-ho suddenly has both hands raised. The next shot, his left hand is suddenly lowered again, then both hands are raised in the shot after that. (00:18:45)
Continuity mistake: When Tae-ho asks Bubs to not tell him things he doesn't ask about, Bubs tells him "There was one more thing, but I'll stop there." At this moment, Tae-ho has his hands pressed against his face. When Tae-ho asks "What is it", his fingers are pressed against his nose, but when Bubs replies in the next shot, Tae-ho's fingers are pressed against his eyebrows. (00:19:14)
Continuity mistake: Whilst Tae-ho and Bubs are talking at the poker game, when Bubs say "Our money manager ran away", Tae-ho has his hands raised up to his face, then begins to lower them. In the next shot, his hands are suddenly raised near his face again. (00:19:18)
Continuity mistake: When Bubs is explaining to Tae-ho that their money manager ran away, whilst Bubs is saying "Remember Piggy's dad, who had the fund", Tae-ho has his hands sort of connected to each other. When the shot cuts, he suddenly has his right hand ring finger in a curled position, which was not in that position in the previous shot. (00:19:22)
Continuity mistake: Tae-ho picks up a small phone-like device and starts reading through the call logs. In one shot, he has a left finger and a right finger shown placed against the back of the device, near the top side. In a close-up shot of the device, we can see his fingers are now positioned much lower down. (00:27:02)
Continuity mistake: When Tae-ho is looking through the briefcase, he picks up a report file with Hyeonu Kang's name on the front. When he first picks up the report, his hands are placed on both sides of the file. In one shot, his hands are positioned towards the middle of the page, but in the next shot, his hands are positioned near the bottom of the page. (00:27:10)
Continuity mistake: When the crew are about to communicate with Hyeo-nu with the voice modifying device, Tae-ho has the device raised up towards his mouth in one shot, but when the shot cuts, the device is suddenly positioned much lower down than his mouth. (00:31:15)
Continuity mistake: Just after Sullivan tells someone to bring him Dorothy, the scene cuts back to the ship. There is a book of paper sheets to draw on and a box of crayons shown in front of Dorothy. The shot then cuts to Tiger, but when it cuts back to Dorothy, the paper and the crayons have changed position. (00:33:25)
Other mistake: Tae-ho hands Pierre a tomato which leads to several other sweepers wanting to get one. Tae-ho then says "One dollar for each of them" in Korean, but the captions read [in English]. (00:50:08)
