1 question
Directed by: Robert Zemeckis
Starring: Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci, Chris Rock, Octavia Spencer
Continuity mistake: When Grandma serves biscuit and orange juice to the kid, the yellow napkin on the table keeps changing positions between shots: from perpendicular to the table to skewed.
The Grandma: I'll call my cousin Ester, have him make a reservation for us at the Grand Orleans Imperial Island Hotel. He was the executive chef there for over thirty years, he's got pull there. He's a star. His cooking put that hotel on the map. It's the swankiest resort in all of Alabama. You'll be telling your grandkids about your stay in this hotel!
The Boy: How do you know it'll be safe there?
The Grandma: Because child, ain't nothing but rich white folks at the Grand Orleans Imperial Island Hotel. And witches only prey on the poor. The overlooked. The kids they think nobody's going to make a fuss about if they go missing. Go pack!
Trivia: The family of late author Roald Dahl who wrote the novel The Witches gave director Robert Zemeckis permission to do a remake on the condition that the ending of the movie follow the ending of the book, where the boy remains a mouse.

Answer: They do. I just loaded the movie up on HBO Max, and it's literally the first credit to pop up in the end credits.
