Visible crew/equipment: When the T-1000 is chasing John on his motorbike aboard the truck, as it is going to hit two cars in the traffic you can see in the shot from the truck's side the camera car used for the frontal shot on the background, and simultaneously, as the camera changes angle, you can see a camera protected in the box attached on the side of the truck used for the previous shot.
Visible crew/equipment: When Sarah opens the car's door at the gas station a man is reflected on the window who shouldn't be there.
Character mistake: When the T-1000 comes from the checkerboard floor and turns into the security guard at the mental hospital, the guard has just gotten a cup of coffee. On the side of the cup he has Jack, Jack, Ace, Ace. He looks at the bottom and says he's got a full house, but the card value on bottom of cup is Queen, which leaves him with only two pair.
Factual error: When the Terminator and John are replacing the starter on the Ford Bronco, the Terminator is removing/installing the starter bolts vertically. However, all Ford starters are held in by bolts that run horizontally.
Character mistake: Sarah Connor breaks Dr. Silberman's arm while informing him, "There are 215 bones in the human body. That's one." There are 206 bones in the human body.
Continuity mistake: In the Pescadero hallway, the T-1000 passes by Dr. Silberman twice, the second time while firing his pistol.
Revealing mistake: Before the Terminator is lowered into the steel, he says "goodbye." You can see his breath revealing the actual temperature on the set.
Revealing mistake: When the truck chase scene ends with a wheel moving in flames, Terminator and John leave on the bike leaving skid marks on the road. Watch the left side and you'll notice another skid mark from a previous take.
Visible crew/equipment: When the T-1000 is chasing John, the terminator, and Sarah in the cop car, the terminator backs the cop car off the ramp, making the car bounce around. At the very end of this shot, you can see crew members, light equipment, and camera dollies put off to the side.
Revealing mistake: At the guard hut, when the Terminator goes to smash through the window you can see the different colored area and the line where the glass breaks.
Continuity mistake: At Cyberdine, Gibbons' chair position differs between the shot when the second guard arrives and after he finds him laying on the floor.
Continuity mistake: While in the police car, escaping from the T-1000, when Sarah says "John, it was stupid of you to go there", her ponytail is either brushed and neat, or messy and all over her shoulder, depending on whether the shot is from behind or the front respectively.
Continuity mistake: When the T-1000 throws the driver off the truck and chases John's bike, the buildings on the right are a brown parking lot and a modern white building. In a couple seconds, the truck keeps swapping from being by the middle of the white building or way behind, next to the brown parking lot approaching the white building. The position is inconsistent many times.
Continuity mistake: Arnie shoots the truck's tyre right before it smashes against the pillar. From the truck's point of view Arnie and the kid disappear, only to reappear one second afterwards.
Character mistake: In the alternate ending on the DVD edition Sarah says that Michael Jackson turned 40 on the supposed day of the war. Michael Jackson's birthday is August 29 1958, so he would have been 39.
Continuity mistake: After the first fight in the steel mill, as the T-800's arm ends up in the gear the black glove on his left hand is torn in many places, revealing parts of the endo-skeleton hand. However, later when the T-800 frees himself from the gear, he is wearing a black glove with no tears on his left hand.
Continuity mistake: When the cop by the vending machine is killed, his head is tilted to the left in the front shot, but straight in the side angle following.
Factual error: When Terminator shoots T1000 in the liquid nitrogen truck, the trucks tips over and is still moving which would be impossible. It would just stop dead in its tracks not continue for another 100 feet like it does in the movie.
Factual error: While escaping Pescadero, Sarah breaks Dr. Silberman's left arm with a baton as he reaches for the phone. Moments later, when Sarah is holding Dr. Silberman "hostage" by sticking the syringe of cleaner fluid, he opens the security doors (which are extremely heavy) with the same left arm. This would be virtually impossible and downright excruciating.
Continuity mistake: When Sarah spits out the paperclip to start her escape, the paperclip is unfolded too quickly between shots.
Chosen answer: Two possibilities. 1: The Terminator is emotionless, so the killing isn't personal, but rather what it's programmed to do. 2: Sarah Connor's plan to kill Miles Dyson to stop Skynet's creation.
Captain Defenestrator
It's also a sly nod to another famous tagline, Jaws: The Revenge. "This time it's personal."
