Continuity mistake: When Jen is impaled on the branch and is trying to light the tree on fire, a tear can be seen in her shirt, right next to her shoulder. There is one shot where the tear disappears before reappearing again in the following shot. (00:33:35)
Continuity mistake: When Richard, Stan and Dimitri return to the cliffside to retrieve Jen's body, there is a shot of the three shown from below the cliff looking up at them where Richard and Stan are standing side by side and Dimitri is standing a couple feet from them. When the shot cuts to a different angle, all three are standing side by side. (00:36:10)
Continuity mistake: When Richard finds the blood trail at the bottom of the cliffside wall, he points his flashlight at it and begins to point it upwards. In the first shot, he is shown holding the flash light with his left hand near the top, but when the shot cuts, he is suddenly holding it in his right hand near the middle. (00:38:15)
Continuity mistake: When Richard realises Jen was standing against the cliffside wall, Dimitri begins to notice a trail of blood. When he begins to approach it, he is holding a flash light in his right hand, but in the next shot, he is suddenly holding it in his left hand. (00:38:25)
Continuity mistake: When Jen is pointing the shotgun at Dimitri, there is a light from the four-wheeler cast on her face. In the shot of her pulling the trigger, the lighting is relatively dim. The shot then cuts to Dimitri, back when it cuts back to Jen, the lighting is a lot brighter. (00:44:30)
Continuity mistake: When Dimitri pushes over Jen after she tries to shoot him, she lands on the ground. In the long shots, her arm is in the water, but in the other shots, she is on the land. (00:44:45)
Continuity mistake: When Dimitri is attempting to drown Jen in the river, she takes his knife and stabs him in the eyes twice. The first time, she stabs him in the left eye. The second time, she stabs him the exact same eye and lets go of the knife. It then shows Dimitri with a stab wound in his left eye and the knife in his right eye, even though it should be in his left. (00:46:05)
Continuity mistake: In the cave, Jen cracks open a can of beer with her left hand. The camera changes angles to a close-up shot and she is using her right. (00:50:35)
Continuity mistake: When Jen is in the cave, she opens a can of beer and foam begins to spill down the side of it. The shot cuts and the foam has suddenly disappeared. (00:50:40)
Continuity mistake: When Jen has finished having a drink of beer in the cave, she puts the can down and has her left hand on the wound from where she was impaled by the tree branch. In the next shot, her left hand is suddenly on the ground. (00:50:50)
Continuity mistake: When Jen attempts to remove the tree branch from her body and fails, she lies down on the ground. When the shot cuts, she suddenly has her head lying on her hand, even though it was not there in the previous shot. The position of the locket also changes between shots. (00:51:40)
Continuity mistake: When Jen opens the locket to get the peyote, in the close-up shot of the locket opening, the peyote falls out while still holding onto the locket. In the next shot, she isn't holding onto the locket. (00:52:05)
Continuity mistake: When Stan gets out of the lake after finding Dimitri's body, his vest and trousers are drenched in water. In the next shot, when he is running back to the SUV, his clothes are significantly less wet. (01:00:05)
Continuity mistake: When Stan runs back to the SUV after he discovers Dimitri's body in the lake, there is a blood stain on the windshield from where Richard had dumped an animal carcass. The appearance of the blood changes between shots. (01:00:10)
Continuity mistake: When Richard tells Stan to turn off the air con and help him, the windshield of the SUV is mostly clear due to Stan wiping off some blood from the windshield using the wipers. As Richard walks back to Dimitri's body, the windshield is mostly clear, but when it cuts to a close-up shot of the car mirror, a blood stain has suddenly reappeared. (01:02:35)
Continuity mistake: When Stan gets out of the SUV to help Richard with Dimitri's body, the windshield wipers are switched off. When the two walk back to the SUV a minute later, the wipers are suddenly moving again. (01:02:35 - 01:03:35)
Continuity mistake: When Jen climbs out of the cave, she is holding a shotgun in her left hand. The camera then cuts to a closer angle where her hand is suddenly further up the shotgun. (01:08:20)
Continuity mistake: After Jen has left the cave, there is a shot of the camera panning around her body, panning from her feet to her head. At the end of this shot, there is no hair over the front of her face. When the shot cuts, there are a few strands of hair over the front of her face. (01:09:10)
Continuity mistake: When Richard and Stan split up, Richard walks over to his motorbike and Stan continues to keep looking at him. In the next shot, Stan is suddenly looking straight forward in the opposite direction. (01:11:40)
Continuity mistake: When Richard leaves Stan to split up, Stan is shown with nothing in his right hand as Richard walks over to his motorbike. Once Richard starts the motorbike, a walkie talkie has suddenly appeared in Stan's hand. (01:11:40)
