Corrected entry: Lawrence could have just put the dynamite stick in the truck and let the truck go automatically toward the front door. Lawrence and the driver didn't have to be dead. (01:38:40 - 01:39:40)
Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)
1 corrected entry
Directed by: Wes Ball
Starring: Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Rosa Salazar
Continuity mistake: When Newt is straddling Thomas with a knife pointed down at his upper left chest, it's very obvious that the knife goes into his chest, through Thomas' shirt. A few minutes later, when Thomas is kneeling over Newt, after Newt stabs himself in the chest, the stab hole in Thomas' shirt is no longer there and he isn't bleeding. (01:50:45)
Trivia: When a member of the resistance destroys a truck with his RPG, the "Wilhelm scream" can be heard.
Question: What would the people outside of the wall gain by destroying the whole city? It was WCKD they were after, right?
Answer: It's not so much that the rebels gain anything by destroying the city, it's just that they are untrained and driven by rage. They do not act as a military unit, they act more like a mob. They lack the discipline to strike only enemy combatants and instead cause chaos in the entire city. The point is that the rebels are acting no better, and in fact quite a bit worse, than the infected do.

Correction: Lawrence was making a sacrifice to motivate his followers. This required his death. Simply blowing up the gate wouldn't have the effect he desired.
