Revealing mistake: In the Gatling Gun scene when the camera cuts to a short couple frame shot showing a closeup on the .45-70 Government ammunition casings on the ground that are falling from the gun, the casings are star crimped. Star crimped casings indicate blank ammunition. Standard ammunition isn't possible with star crimping. The size and casing shape indicates .45-70 Gov which was popular in these guns at this time. Factual error: The character Red Harvest is a Comanche. He is sporting a Mohawk haircut. This hair style was not in use by the Comanche tribe, but used by the Iroquois and Mohawks.
Suggested correction: The Mohawk hairstyle was used amongst many different plains tribes as well as eastern tribes.
Sam Chisolm: We've got a seven.
Sheriff Harp: He's got an army!
Josh Faraday: And they'll be murdered by the world's greatest lover.
Trivia: The horse that Chris Pratt rides in this film is one of the horses used in War Horse (2011).
