Continuity mistake: When Tom starts beating the curtain with a book when he thinks he has captured Jerry, there is a chair behind him. There is no sign of the chair in the next shot, but when Jerry whacks Tom with a golf club, it is back again.

Continuity mistake: There is an apple core on the floor when Tom starts putting covering it with flour, but when he has finished covering the floor, there is no sign of the apple core.

Continuity mistake: When Jerry is eating the banana, Tom discovers his shadow, even though Jerry is still invisible.

Continuity mistake: Jerry sets Tom's left foot on fire, but when Tom rushes to the goldfish bowl to put out the fire, he puts his right foot in the bowl.

Continuity mistake: When Jerry hides from the Tom in the bottle of invisible ink, the two test tubes on the right hand side contain red and yellow liquid, respectively. When Jerry emerges from the bottle, the liquids are now purple and blue.

Continuity mistake: When Jerry dives into the bottle of invisible ink, he dives in head first. When he emerges from the bottle, it is the bottom half of his body that is invisible first.

Continuity mistake: When Tom is about to drop the iron on Jerry, he is holding some cheese on a piece of string in his left hand. When the iron drops on Tom's foot, he is no longer holding the string.
