Continuity mistake: When the bikers destroy Hitler's car, they break off the front left flag. Later, when Hitler's car crashes into the WWII veteran convention, the flag is back. You can also see it is back later when the people come to collect it from the diner car park. (01:07:40)
Revealing mistake: When one of the bikers smashes the front headlight of Hitler's car, the glass smashes well before the metal pole strikes it, revealing that a small explosive was triggered to cause it. (01:07:45)
Continuity mistake: As the bikers smash Hitler's car, one of them smashes a headlight, and there's still glass and fragments in it, but in the next shot the whole headlight is intact again! (01:07:45)

However when Vera and Merrill start the rocket car up, we see the two men turning round to look, and now two of the microphones are lying down on the wooden stand, and a seventh mike has appeared. Continuity mistake: When the car repair man cries "Oh Lord, I'm here. And I'm listenin'" the oil rag he holds in his hand changes from being dark red to a much lighter red between shots. (01:15:50)
Visible crew/equipment: When the rocket car zooms past the repair mans garage and it collapses, you can see a wire running across the outside of the garage, from above the window to behind the petrol pump, and there is a white cable trailed across the road to the left of the garage - in an earlier shot you can clearly see these were not here. Visible crew/equipment: When Vera and Merrill go zooming past the car repair man's garage and the garage collapses, as the man turns and mutters "whoa," the camera's shadow is clearly cast on his back. (01:16:00)
Continuity mistake: In the single outside shot of the "Fatburger" diner, when we hear Bev saying "right, everybody OK? You alright..." look at Hitler's car, parked out front - you can see that the front windsheild (which got smashed earlier) is either missing or intact, because no smash marks are visible. (01:16:10)
Revealing mistake: When Owen tells the Lucys that he stole the uniform and that he isn't a bus driver, one of the Lucys asks, "You're not a real bus driver?" By the end of the sentence the old Lucy is lip-syncing the question. (01:20:00)
Visible crew/equipment: In the wide shot as Duane and Blaine drive up by the pierced girl's red car, you can briefly see a reflector, equipment and some crew reflected in the car. Then when it cuts to a close-up, you can see the reflections in the side of the wing mirror. (01:21:35)
Continuity mistake: While Duane and Blaine see the two girls in another car, the one with a lot of piercings has her right arm down inside the car in one shot, but in the next shot her arm is on the car door. (01:21:55)

Continuity mistake: At the monster truck ralley, when Duane and Blaine burst in and then wildly drive along the track, they pass the same two monster trucks a couple of times. The monster trucks are a purple one, and an orange roofed one. (01:23:00)
Continuity mistake: When Cuba Gooding Jr.'s character is being chased by the Lucy look-a-likes his jacket is sweaty and dirty. Then when he wakes up in front of the horse pasture it's perfectly clean and bright white, like it just got washed and bleached. (01:23:00 - 01:23:55)
Other mistake: When Owen is removing his clothes saying he isn't a bus driver, the chinese Lucy is looking away and covering her eyes. In the next shot she is looking again and then covers her eyes again. (01:23:20)
Continuity mistake: As the monster truck revs up just before it drives over the ramp, the cars parked by the ramp change between shots. (01:23:20)
Continuity mistake: At the monster truck ralley, in the first shot as the monster truck revs up, ready to jump the ramp, look at the huge advert signs behind it. One of them has "PowerBar" written on it, but in the second shot as the truck roars over the ramp, the same sign is now totally different. (01:23:25)
Other mistake: When everyone is on the road leading to Silver City, near the end, about four of them are behind one another on the road. When it cuts to the radar owned by Sinclair, it shows all of the dots (which represent the people) all spread out around the big star which is train station, when in fact the dots should all be in a line behind each other, just like they are in the cars.
