Big George Foreman picture

Factual error: In the famous "Rumble In The Jungle" fight between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali, the movie portrays Foreman as fighting out of the red corner and Ali fighting out of the blue corner. In the actual fight, Ali fought out of the red corner and Foreman was in the blue.

Shackled picture

Factual error: The thick chain-links - between both sides of the driver's door - do not prevent the door from being completely closed (but ought to). (00:13:55 - 00:14:33)

Puppy Love picture

Factual error: Max sees a dog he wants to adopt at the "Seattle Animal Shelter" and the shelter worker tells him, "Just bring her back in a week to get spayed." All dogs/cats in Seattle shelters (as well as virtually all across the U.S.) must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. [This also falls under "plot hole" and "character" mistakes.] (00:07:45 - 00:08:40)

Mafia Mamma picture

Factual error: Kristin meets Lorenzo at the airport. He asks for her number, which she gives him. Later when he calls her, her Mafia family take the phone and smash it to pieces while she's talking. They give her a new burner phone. They say they did a background check on Lorenzo. How? The family never met him at the airport, the only time she saw him. Further, when they meet for dinner (how she found him is another mystery), she shows him a picture of her son on the phone. How did a photo get on her new phone?

That's a Wrap picture

Factual error: Stoney sets his lit marijuana cigarette on the metal garbage can lid and walks away. The cigarette is still lit and does not burn down after 3+ minutes of screen time. A lit marijuana cigarette left unattended burns a short time and forms ashes before extinguishing itself. (00:55:35 - 00:58:50)

Ripper's Revenge picture

Factual error: Lenny, using a manual typewriter in 1889, would not be able to type that fast or the striking keys be able to produce a sound similar to that of an electronic typewriter (not available until decades later). A manual typewriter's single key had to have time to retract (at least partially) before the next key could strike to prevent the keys from overlapping and getting stuck together. Equally paced, rapid striking sounds were not possible for an extended period of time. (00:47:07)

Heart of Stone picture

Factual error: It's not physically possible to remotely cause an elevator to fall to the bottom of the shaft. Even if the Heart somehow gained full control over the motor, there are emergency brakes on the elevator itself that engage if the elevator begins to reach an unsafe speed.

To Catch a Killer picture

Factual error: Eleanor Falco is mentioned as having substance problems. No way would the FBI recruit someone with such a problem.

Totally Killer picture

Factual error: It is Halloween night, 2023, but there is summer tree foliage (and even flowering shrubs some time later). There should be peak fall foliage in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada by mid-to-late October. (00:05:40 - 00:14:53)

Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose picture

Factual error: Fodor is woken by the nighttime cry of a fox, whilst staying on the Isle of Man. There are no foxes on the Isle of Man, and none were present in the time period of the film. (00:37:45)

The Equalizer 3 picture

Factual error: A morning scene in the fictional town of Altamonte is preceded by a picturesque sunrise. Atrani, the town used as the filming location, and the whole Amalfi Coast are on the west coast of Italy, which means the sun over the sea near the horizon could only be a sunset. (00:48:07)

Goliath picture

Factual error: Professor Alessando steals the keys from the ward. One key is under a copy of the Italian magazine "L'Eternauta." However, it is issue #103, released in November 1991. The movie is set one year earlier, at the end of 1990.

The Burial picture

Factual error: When Willie's wife drives Jerry to Indiantown to meet up with Willie, she mentions that they are entering the town and he asks if that is where Willie is from. The camera pans to a local house. There are 3 vehicles in the background: a 7th generation Nissan Maxima, which was not released until 2009; a 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro facelift, which was not until 2014; and a naughties American SUV. According to the movie, that scene is supposed to be circa 1995. (01:26:09)

Fear picture

Factual error: The way Michael poured wine out of the newly opened bottle (standard 750 ml/25 oz?), the estimated amount he poured into six glasses plus drank some from the bottle, and the angles at which the six friends tilted their glasses for the toast, were not realistic. Also, the wine bottle appeared to have more than one-half (possibly two-thirds) of its contents left when Michael poured it into the fireplace. A newly opened bottle of wine would not be held at a downward angle to start pouring. (00:26:18 - 00:27:34)

Shazam! Fury of the Gods picture

Factual error: When the pen starts writing by itself, in the Spanish release the text that the group finds reads 'La sabiduría de Salomón'. The accent is missing, the correct spelling should be 'sabiduría'.

Megalodon: The Frenzy picture

Factual error: Lieutenant Commander Sharp addresses the crew of the USS King. At the end, he shouts "Semper Fi." Marines say "Semper Fi," not Navy personnel. "Hooyah!" would have been more appropriate. By the way, I don't think bright metal collar insignias are worn with the blue camo uniform. They use subdued rank insignia. But I am not sure.

Breakout picture

Factual error: The warden, sergeant, and a couple of other members of the parole board are seated at a long table, so their upper bodies are in the open. When 10 shots are fired at them at close range, there is no blood splatter and little visible blood. (00:20:47)

BlackBerry picture

Factual error: In the film, Blackberry is shown being "raided" by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). As a Canadian company with its headquarters in Canada, the SEC, by itself, has no jurisdiction to effectuate such a raid on the premises. In real life, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) brought the case against Blackberry co-CEO, Jim Balsillie.

Tetris picture

Factual error: Henk arrives in Moscow. The KGB gets a copy of his passport. In the next scene, a building can be seen, and a Trabant 601 drives through the shot (one light out). Trabant was East German made and widely exported on the Eastern Block but never to the Soviet Union. This car is definitely wrong there. (00:30:40)
