Factual error: In the famous "Rumble In The Jungle" fight between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali, the movie portrays Foreman as fighting out of the red corner and Ali fighting out of the blue corner. In the actual fight, Ali fought out of the red corner and Foreman was in the blue.
Factual error: Although addressed throughout the film using his correct rank of Obersturmbannführer (Lieutenant-Colonel), Rudolf Höss wears the rank insignia of the lower rank of Sturmbannführer (Major).
Factual error: Professor Alessando steals the keys from the ward. One key is under a copy of the Italian magazine "L'Eternauta." However, it is issue #103, released in November 1991. The movie is set one year earlier, at the end of 1990.
Factual error: Max sees a dog he wants to adopt at the "Seattle Animal Shelter" and the shelter worker tells him, "Just bring her back in a week to get spayed." All dogs/cats in Seattle shelters (as well as virtually all across the U.S.) must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. They give her a new burner phone. They say they did a background check on Lorenzo. How? The family never met him at the airport, the only time she saw him. Further, when they meet for dinner (how she found him is another mystery), she shows him a picture of her son on the phone. How did a photo get on her new phone?
Factual error: When Marcus is walking down the street after first meeting the team, he gets picked up by Johnny and his sister. You can see Government of Manitoba vehicles in the background, while the movie is set in Des Moines, Iowa. (00:22:38)
