It definitely is illuminated. It might be hard to tell with so much lighting already present in the scene, especially coming through the window.
I seriously doubt there's enough background light to make what is supposed to be a clear illuminated LED bulb several feet in front of it to fade away. (This will be my last response).
Then you're talking about two completely different lamps altogether because the bulb is in front of a giant window with light coming through the thin curtain and it's inches away from the window, not feet. And it's not faded away at all.
Continuity mistake: The husband takes photos of his bride as she walks towards him on the shore, which is free of rocks for yards in both directions. The dummy is slouched in various positions or upright, and the "FBI" lapel letters are partially or fully visible. Continuity mistake: Andy is walking alongside a highway and is roughly between the "End Road Work" and "Speed Limit 55" signs. There is a tall, thin sign pole on the right-front side of the screen. Andy is almost at the pole when there is a cut to Bishop breaking into and searching a house. Continuity mistake: The desk lamp (which has an odd 2-3" "halo" around its perimeter) faces the screen (angled away from Sid). Suddenly, the lamp aims at Sid spinning in his chair. The lamp goes back to its original angle but varies a couple more times. (00:41:20)
Continuity mistake: Scott hugs his daughter and caresses her face while she holds his wrist. From the opposite angle, her hand is gone.
Continuity mistake: Mr. Snowdon's whiteboard sketch of Santa's face and hat has a more polished look after he turns and faces his class. Santa's eyes are more oval-shaped, and his mouth looks more like a semi-circle than a rounded checkmark. Alternating views show the more distorted facial features. Continuity mistake: They say Eden's former partner died in a diving accident in Barbados. Later in the movie, they are looking at statements from witnesses to the drowning from Bermuda.
Continuity mistake: When Maddie is put on napkin-folding duty at the beginning of the film, the way she's folding and stacking the napkins and silverware changes multiple times between cuts. Ex. At one point a napkin appears in front of her that wasn't there in the previous shot. Some of the silverware moves around between shots. Etc.
Continuity mistake: When Nick and Audrey arrive on the island, you see Nick holding Audrey's bag. But later on in their room, the photo shows Audrey holding the bag. (00:06:50 - 00:11:36)
