Deliberate mistake: The "Sixth Street Coffee" surveillance video footage of Zara disarming the barista's determined ex-boyfriend was different from the actual event when shown on Audrey's cell phone (recorded from TV news). The most obvious difference was that Zara never held the gun with both hands behind her and making a circular motion over her head before aiming at the man she had kicked to the floor. Other mistake: Grace Lewis shot a man in the head when he was standing less than three feet from her, but Grace did not get any blood splatter on her face or elsewhere. Neither did George Clements, who was standing near both of them. (01:15:03)
Character mistake: The interviewer pointed out that Evan [Mark Wahlberg] is a "smart guy" and another man later said, "Homeboy knows everything. He's a freak." When Evan was telling the interviewer the circumstances under which he assaulted a man, Evan committed a basic grammatical error - a misplaced modifier: "I asked him to leave politely." Evan didn't mean he wanted the man to leave in a "polite manner"; he meant he "politely asked" the man to leave. (00:09:20 - 00:14:00)
Continuity mistake: Before Jen gets on the yacht, Aileen's green halter strap can be seen because the left side of her hair is on or over her shoulder. When Jen gets on board, Aileen's hair is in front, covering up the green strap. The camera shifts when Lewis is hugging Jen and Aileen's green strap is visible again with the left side of her hair behind her. There is no noticeable wind and Eileen is standing in the same place. Continuity mistake: Mia holds her doll's face next to hers, but the doll is not there when the camera shifts. The doll is to Mia's side on the bed, but instantly back next to her face. (This is independent of the times Mia moves her doll.) (00:02:25)
Factual error: He grabs a Glock handgun and a suppressor and begins threading on the suppressor. For this to work in real life, the handgun would need a threaded barrel which extends half inch past the end of the slide. The one he grabs, the barrel is flush with the slide, no threads. (01:05:35)
Factual error: Dylan (Scott Eastwood) was in a jail cell yet had a bottle of prescription pills in his pocket. The pills would have been confiscated before he was put in the cell and administered to him on schedule by staff/nurse. (00:28:10)
Other mistake: The issued sidearm for the Spanish National Police is the H&K USP 9mm Compact, which has a capacity of 13+1 bullets, and the Civil Guards' is the Beretta 92fs/M9, which is a 9mm and has a magazine capacity of 15+1 bullets. As of 2020 the Beretta is being phased out for the H&K USP C. The police officer fires a total of 5 bullets from his Beretta then the slide locks back because its dry. He has no magazines for reloads either. I highly doubt the Spanish police issues 5 bullets to their officers. (00:33:00 - 00:35:30)
Revealing mistake: The "bridge" within the crime scene tape is obviously a prop. It should be a continuation of the road, but it is tilted to the left and is more vertical (around 45°). The bridge isn't even very high. When Byron and others go under the bridge to look at the dead girl, there is only a few feet above their heads (clearance under the bridge). (00:04:54)
Continuity mistake: After Diane lit and switched her cigarette to her right hand (and off-camera), most front views of her left arm showed it in front of her, along her stomach, but rear views showed her holding the cigarette in her left hand with her arm more perpendicular to her stomach. Whether her left elbow was fully on the table or over the edge also varied numerous times. (00:08:00)
Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, the background varies a few times behind Beth and Jack seated at a table. When the background is blurred, a young man can be seen to the left behind Beth, but he is not there when the background is clear. (Despite the different camera angle, he should still be visible.) Instead, two men are seated at the bar counter or an elevated table and a woman behind them is facing the screen. (00:11:47 - 00:12:49)
Revealing mistake: There was already a gap in the snow mounds (which looked like a snow sledding path with no fresh tracks) when the "kid" was sledding down the steep hill. (00:02:40)
Other mistake: When Zoe Levenson first looks out the window from the spaceship, the earth is from the bottom moving towards the top, this is opposite to the ship spinning direction, which can be determined by the direction of the gravity. (00:12:50)
Other mistake: Narrating, Ringo said "Let me be clear. I never steal from people who don't deserve it." He was in a bank's safety deposit room, which was full of hundreds (if not thousands) of safety deposit boxes. Ringo was selecting specific boxes from among those along the wall, but he couldn't know whose boxes they were. (00:02:44)
Other mistake: Packie arrived at Frank's garage on a bicycle, wearing a brown coat, hat, gray hooded sweatshirt, patterned shirt, and a T-shirt. Swaino arrived on a motorcycle, wearing a tight jacket, no hat, black gloves, and black jogging jacket with white trim. When they were outside by the grill, they had large sweaters over their coats. It isn't known where these sweaters came from. It can be assumed the blanket Swaino used at first was from Frank's garage, but the sweaters did not appear to be Frank's. (00:25:32 - 00:37:35)
Plot hole: Diabolik blinks in Morse code to his accomplice the location of one of his hidden stashes. He says it's in 'the third brick to the left' and the street name, but no address or other reference. She (who previously knew nothing about the location) finds it immediately. It's worth noting that the movie is a faithful adaptation of a couple issues of the comic, but this bit of subplot is a fresh addition and the original hiding spot in the 1963 issue was a plausible one (cave behind a specific waterfall).
Other mistake: Jane's top includes a scarf that is wrapped around her neck a few times. She starts to remove the scarf by unwrapping it clockwise. When the camera shifts, and she resumes unwrapping the scarf, she goes counterclockwise. (00:20:55)
Character mistake: Immediately after kissing (through masks) and having close contact with JJ, Valeria removed her protective mask and went to check on her sick/crying child. Valeria was clicking her tongue, kissing her child on the face/head and putting her hands around the child's ears/hair. Valeria did not take appropriate preventive measures for contracting and/or spreading COVID-19. (00:18:40 - 00:19:29)
Factual error: There was a lot of thunder and lightning before the lightning strike that set the barn on fire, but there was no obvious loud thunder AFTER the strike. Lightning can be seen BEFORE the sound of thunder (because lightning travels faster than sound). (00:03:25)
