Factual error: It isn't known how long Tommy's mother was dead (overdosed), but Tommy told Parker that his mom and dad had been "asleep for hours." When Parker felt Tommy's mom's neck for a pulse, her body appeared to be stiff. Even if rigor mortis had not set in, it would take more than Parker lightly passing his hand over her eyes to close them. Plot hole: Mike was given a conditional release from prison (on parole) and could be returned to prison if he violated the conditions of parole. Associating with known criminals, taking/ selling illegal drugs, domestic violence or other problems would constitute a violation. Mike assaulted and threatened Dahlia - more than enough "bad behavior" to get his parole revoked. Neither Dahlia nor Parker thought to report Mike to his parole officer. Character mistake: Detective King (?) told Mikey, "You're on probation. You got no rights." King knew Mikey had been in prison, so should have said, "You're on parole" (not probation). Although a layperson might use probation and parole interchangeably, an employee in the criminal justice system (such as a detective) should know the differences between the terms and use the right one. A parolee is given an early, conditional release from prison and has fewer "rights" than a probationer. (00:47:10)
