Trivia: SPOILER: Although it was the film's worst kept secret, whenever asked, Andrew Garfield would deny, sometimes vehemently, that he would be appearing in it.

Trivia: Cary Joji Fukunaga is the first American to direct an official Bond movie.

Trivia: After 13 years and 26 films, this is the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to receive a "rotten" rating from Rotten Tomatoes upon release. This is somewhat ironic given that there were reports that Marvel considered it the best film they had made yet, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige felt it could be a nominee for Best Picture at the Oscars, particularly as its director Chloé Zhao had recently won the Best Director Oscar for Nomadland, which also won Best Picture.

Trivia: Jax says that Cole beat Eddy Tobias in a fight. This is a reference to the creators of Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon and John Tobias.

Trivia: The scene with Jill eating Wesker's sandwich and saying "It's Jill's sandwich now!" (although saying it quickly in such a way that you can't hear the "s" and it sounds more like "It's Jill sandwich now!") is a reference to an infamous moment in the original video game. In the game, Jill is almost crushed by a booby-trap, and the character Barry says she was "almost a Jill sandwich!" The poor dialogue and terrible delivery by the voice actor ended up making the moment a meme many years later.

Trivia: When Yelena is talking about Alexei wanting to relive his glory days as the Red Guardian, she sarcastically calls him Crimson Dynamo. In the comics, Crimson Dynamo is one of Iron Man's enemies. Ivan Vanko from Iron Man 2 was partly based on this character.

Trivia: John Ostrander, who created the Suicide Squad team in the comics, has a cameo as the doctor who implants the brain bomb into Michael Rooker Savant.

Trivia: Despite his directorial credits, Zack Snyder never actually watched Justice League (2017). Christopher Nolan and Snyder's wife, producer Deborah Snyder, told him not to go and see Joss Whedon's finished production of the movie, because, according to a new report in Vanity Fair, the pair told him that the final result would "break his heart."

Trivia: After the ending credits role, stay tuned for a scene extra with Bruce Banner and Captain Marvel as they try to decipher the origin of the homing beacon the 10 rings are giving off.

Trivia: In one if the opening scenes, a warrior at the camp fire sings a few lines of the medieval ballad 'La Blanche Biche': "Je suis fille le jour, et la nuit blanche biche. La chasse est après mois, des barons et des princes". "I am a girl at day, and at night, a white hind; the chase of the barons and princes is after me". Which is what the movie is all about.

Trivia: This modern version of "Oliver Twist" has an interesting twist to it: He is a traceur or parkourist (in addition to other things, such as a graffiti artist). The scenes that include roof topping, scaling walls, and traversing obstacles are worth watching.

Trivia: "Infanticide" refers to a parent deliberately killing a child, either an infant or up to a one-year-old. The lesser-known general term "filicide" refers to a parent (or functional equivalent, such as step-parent) killing a child. Related terms wherein a family member kills another family member include "parricide" (a child killing a parent) and "siblicide" (obviously, killing a brother or sister).

Trivia: There is a post credit scene where the Baroness tries to convince Tommy Arishikage to join Cobra now that his grandmother stated he won't be leader of her clan. Tommy told Baroness to call him Storm Shadow since he has now shunned his birth name.

Trivia: "Megalodon" means "large tooth." Without a complete fossil/skeleton, scientists used the size of teeth to estimate the shark's actual length/size (which may not be accurate) and concluded it was the largest shark known to have existed. At an estimated 15-18 meters, the Megalodon was about three times the length of a Great White shark.
