Continuity mistake: Jane Curtin is teaching to a rather seasoned class. One of those old hags says sarcastically "Because we really never do anything." As she says it, notice Eleanor turning towards her momentarily. She then turns completely, facing the opposite way, but at the cut she is repeating the turn from the beginning. Moreover, Moira's mouth closes after she says "Enough!" but the following shot on Curtin shows her still jaw-dropped. (00:04:05)
Continuity mistake: The direction of the desk lamp's flexible neck varies with the camera's angle. Front views of Rodger show the top of the neck aimed toward the outer edge (length) of the desk and rear views of Rodger show the top of the desk lamp's neck pointed toward him sitting at the desk. Continuity mistake: Maggie was holding two bottles (clear containing a green liquid) in her right hand and set them on the table together with one at an angle behind the other. She moved her hand away and when the camera shifted to a wide view, the bottles were side-by-side (horizontal to the screen) with more space between them. Also, both bottles were almost full, but had less in them when Maggie handed one to Grace at the airport. (Maggie may have had a sip out of hers, but not Grace's; both looked unopened). Continuity mistake: When Oliver is pushing injured Michelle in a chair down the hallway, they are approaching a long row of student lockers. When the camera shifts to a front view, they are near a stairwell and the short walls behind them are cement and brick with no lockers before the door. (00:41:05)
Continuity mistake: The position of the dead (imposter) security guard's head over the barbell changes. When Gus says, "Jesus, he's dead", the security guard's neck is over the barbell rail, the top of his head is touching the floor, and his face is toward the front of the screen. When the camera goes to the opposite side of the dead guard, his head and neck are raised (and apparently no longer being supported by the barbell - or anything else). (00:28:28)
Continuity mistake: The kids are in the car with their dad, and despite the best efforts from the youngest, they are reached by his teacher. As the dad starts the "You were killing us" joke, his hand is on/off the steering wheel between shots more than once. (00:07:15)
Continuity mistake: During the introductory meeting with Nicole Kleiber, her glasses on the desk switch back and forth between open and folded. (00:26:20)
Continuity mistake: Tommy had a cup of coffee in front of him when he met Jaylene at the outside table. After Jaylene showed Tommy the picture of him and Sandy, the coffee cup was to the right of the ashtray and closer to Jaylene (as though it was hers). Also, the mini creamer cups that were on the saucer appeared to be gone. (00:07:17 - 00:07:54)
Continuity mistake: When Driscoll is walking out to his car with his son, you see the driver's side window is rolled all the way up. When he sees Spenser and goes to talk to him, the window is now rolled down, even though he didn't do anything. (01:22:00)
Continuity mistake: When Johanna and the Captain are being chased by Mr Almay and his associates, their position in the wagon changes. First Johanna is on the Captain's left. Next shot she is on his right. Next shot she is back on his left. (00:42:14)
Continuity mistake: Take notice of the desk lamp as Charlie and Al are talking in Charlie's new office. As the camera switches back and forth between their face to face conversation, the green glass cover of the light keeps changing position too. This happens even after Al leaves. This was probably done to keep the light out of the camera during filming. (00:13:50)
Continuity mistake: The first time we see the girl the main character fawns on, people on the background keep changing between shots during the beach volley game. (00:08:20)
Continuity mistake: Near the start during the 1st bank raid, his hands change position while lying down on the ground talking to the guard.
Continuity mistake: Monica's station wagon and the moving van Jacob drove to their new property in Arkansas are not parked in the same positions moments after their arrival. Initially, both vehicles are at some distance from the mobile home (or trailer) and are roughly parallel. When the camera shifts to a view from the vehicles toward the mobile home, the vehicles are suddenly a lot closer and their front ends are angled toward each other. (00:02:13)
Continuity mistake: The protagonist receives her gift from Molly Shannon. She unwraps it and puts the discarded wrapping on the counter. When we see it again at the end of the scene, the wrapping is much less torn apart than the first time around (or at least has been arranged neatly). (00:09:45)
Continuity mistake: Views of Michelle's car wreck were inconsistent. When the car veered to the right and was headed toward the tree, the driver's view showed most of the car was to the left of the tree trunk. On impact, it looked like the right side headlight hit the middle of the tree trunk. Michelle got out and a rear view showed the tree trunk roughly lined up with the steering wheel (i.e, more than half of the car was to the right of the trunk). After impact, both headlights were shining in front of the tree.
Continuity mistake: While on-stage addressing the crowd at the Apple Festival, Vivian's long hair is in various positions. On her left side, a long section is in front of her initially, then in back. On her right side, her hair is either distinctly split (some in front, some in back) or flows around her shoulder/side. (00:09:43)
Continuity mistake: When Joe is first in the cat and him and 22 see each other, the cat has a harness on. In the next shot when they leave the room, the harness is gone. (00:38:20)
Continuity mistake: When Theo says, "You can pull them [flowers] out if you want to", there's one flower that is slightly pulled away from the vase, drooping below the others. When Felix [Bill Murray] is next to the flowers, there is not a flower pulled out at first, but there is a few camera shifts later. (00:34:00 - 00:36:37)
